Of course it would be a failure, there's no argument, they just had one of the best regular seasons of all-time, and their main competitors are going against each other in the 1st round:lol..

Craziest Warriors stat IMO: Curry didn't play in 17 4th quarters this year :wow..

The media would still slob em next year.

Maybe Memphis stats playing the same way they did at the start of the season...

It is already a massive success.

Curry should stop adding unnecessary pressure by saying shit like this.

Any team who finishes with top record should feel that way tbh

I'm just going that this is a year that they "gain valuable experience that they can really build on"

"We know what we're capable of, where we need to improve, we'll be back. We're a great team, every one of us wants to come back here and get another shot at this. We'll think about it over the summer and approach preseason with a chip on our shoulders" - Doc

It's a massive success b/c nobody thought they were going to be contenders before the season started. Now they're looking at making history

If I was getting paid to do something and considered my work a failure, I'd not expect to be paid.

Yeah, winning 67 games and being ranked #1 in offense and defense means you have to win the championship, or you're a massive failure. So the pressure's all on them. :lol

No, winning a championship is a "massive success." Were the 2007 Mavs a "massive success" to you?

It is a success.

They haven't done shit in the past, now they have this cute little thing going. If they lose, they lose.

They should def go for the championship and enjoy that shit because this is not going to occur again.

I would still see that as an accomplishment.

It's like if the Nets suddenly have an amazing year. Appreciate that and dont look back cuz you ain't doing it again.

Mavs came into that season having won 60 games and a finals berth the year prior ,so they were expected to be a legit threat in the West. 67 games was nice but after the Wade fiasco anything short of a title would be disappointing. Better comparison would be the 2003 Mavs that won 60 games and joined the Spurs and Lakers as a legit threat. That was a successful season.

Chances are they will face adversity at some point. I don't see Elian Gonzales and his young gang overcoming a tough road. Either Spurs or Cleveland will break their little hearts.

eh... the 08 celtics, 09/10 lakers, 12/13 heat were all arrogant

the warriors haven't been on the big stage though... the farthest they've gotten is the 2nd round

They look beatable to me. Watching today I sensed a lack of toughness. I think a team that gets physical and pushes them around, contests every 3pt, and can score in the low post, can beat them.

You're my nigga but this doesn't make sense. :lol

Only a handful of teams in the NBA are capable of winning a championship every given year. The rest only pray they even make it to the playoffs let alone thinking about winning a championship.

Most of the teams are not thinking championships, they're thinking maybe playoffs.

We are spoiled that the Spurs content every year but to to other teams like Knicks and Wizards and those bottom dwellers faggots, they only wish they had it that good.

Hpw does it not make sense. This warriors team almost matched jordans bulls. Its the best reg team in a long time, them not winning it is a failure period. If they get satisfied with that shit then they are losers.

Problem with the Warriors is that they get ahead and act like the game is over in the 3rd quarter. These are playoff games, you have to put your foot on their neck and keep it there. You cannot have close games when it's a 25 point rout in the 3rd. That's ridiculous.
