That crosses my mind everytime someone compares this team to that team honestly.

yup. or when they say that 3 spurs champ teams lost their first game of the playoffs when those teams either had prime td/prime manu or both. I mean sure I'd love to be optimistic but :lol

Man that was a long time ago. Remind me, how did that stacked Houston team only win 47 games?

Different years and teams and situation so I agree easy to compare but irrelevant right now.

The Spurs lost game 1 before @ home, on their road to championship.

They will act on whatever adjustments they need to do in game 2.

Sans Crawford, the Clippers have no bench.

Spurs will be fine

We played like dogshit and still made a game of it... on the road. We will be fine if we play at 75% of our capability. Im not writing this team off until they lose 4 games cuz at any moment they can get hot and it wont matter how the clippers play.

Not worried until we lose a game at home.

You do know that Spurs could win all of their home games in this series and lose right? Not having HCA stings, they should have taken the game against NO more seriously but this is what happens when you don't take care of business.

Not saying Spurs cant do it because of course it still possible but they created a very tough uphill battle. Win or lose either way this is going to still bite them in the ass. Spurs have become so lazy this season so I'm not sure if they have it in them but time will tell I suppose.

You can make fun of the Clippers all we want but they are looking like a vary Hungry and confident team right now.

They rested Olajuwon a lot.

In the playoffs I dont think there are moral victories or good losses. The Clips were the better team last night.

Game 4 of last year's WCF was a good loss where Bonner, Diaw, Mills, and Joseph kept the game close and forced Brooks' hand in playing Westbrook, Durant, and Ibaka the whole game basically, which set the stage for the Spurs to run them out of the building in Game 5 with the quick turnaround. But last night was no doubt a really bad loss.

honestly if shots fell the way they did for the clips then spurs would have blown them out.

36% fg percentage compared to 51% for the clips

non issue

This does not fit the "sky-is falling" ST standards. We lost one playoff game. Are you telling me that not every championship team went 16-0?

Championships aren't won or lost on the first playoff game. The Spurs need to hit their shots, especially when they're wide open. Also, transition D needs to be better.

Spurs win game 2 and this board goes from suicide watch to celebration mode.
