"... Baltimore's mayor, police officials, and prosecutor sought to calm their city Monday, while six officers were suspended as authorities investigated how a suspect suffered a fatal spine injury in police custody last week.A week after Freddie Gray, 25, was pulled off the street and into a police van, authorities don't have any videos or other evidence explaining what happened to cause the "medical emergency" an arresting officer said Gray suffered while being taken to the local police station, Deputy Commissioner Jerry Rodriguez said. The Gray family's lawyer, Billy Murphy, had said that Gray's "spine was 80 percent severed at his neck."

Autopsy results returned Monday show that Gray "did suffer a significant spinal injury that led to his death," Rodriguez said. "What we don't know is how he suffered that injury."

In a police report obtained by*The Baltimore Sun, Officer Garrett Miller wrote that police on bike patrol stopped Gray April 12 after he was seen fleeing "unprovoked upon noticing police presence." Police said a knife was found clipped to Gray's pants pocket and he was arrested on a weapons charge..............

The video i saw, is it possible his back/neck were already jacked up when they loaded him into the van?

You know, I'm sick of police brutality. If the officers did cause his injuries, I want to see them get the death sentence.

I am sick and tired of abuse of authority.

It has to stop.

his legs sure seem to be dead but he's holding up his head, so he's not unconscious.

The police detectives who investigated the death of Freddie Gray (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/freddie-gray/) were told that he had a history of participating in "crash-for-cash" schemes — injuring himself in law enforcement settings to collect settlements — but were advised by a state prosecutor not to pursue the information, according to defense attorneys for the six officers charged in Gray's arrest and death.

The defense attorneys said in a court motion Thursday that Assistant State's Attorney Janice Bledsoe told police investigators working the case in its early stages not to "do the defense attorneys' jobs for them" by pursuing information they had about such schemes and evidence that Gray "intentionally injured himself at the Baltimore City Detention Center."

I haven't had any problems with the cops in over 30 years, none! And won't be having any problems with them. If I do get stopped for a ticket..."yes sir"...."you're right sir".

Now it wasn't always like that, there was a time I was as crazy as they come. Been in jail five times...

Disturbing the peace
Public Intoxication
Reckless driving
DUI
Petty Thef....a story goes with this, if anyone cares. I'm no theft.

Had a lot of run in with the law back in the day that didn't land me in jail.

It's all about puting yourself in bad or good situations. Once I stopped putting myself in bad situations, no more troubles with the law. Yep. it really is all about you.
