What did Shaq say?

On-air, Chuck said the Spurs' win was "impressive", then Shaq called him out and said that Chuck was celebrating in the green room saying the Clippers were going to sweep the Spurs when they took a late lead.

Then he called him out again for the same thing and left Chuck speechless... he didn't even have a comeback for it. He just had a "I got PWNED" look on his face.

Shaq is getting back for Chuck and Smith winning all those meaningless TV awards. :lol

But it is no surprise to anyone Charles hates the Spurs and has and always will cheer for the oponent when it comes to Spurs vs whomever.

Whats funny is he used to love them and coined Ginobiliiiiii. The last few years though not so much.

Barkely always tries his best to give TD as little credit as possible with his Tony Parker and kawhi leonard are the two best players in this team comments. He said that like 50x in the commentary against Lebron..Was annoying as hell.

spurraider21

but he always calls TD the best PF of all time... sorta throws it in there to soften the blow

sky is blue..That's easy to say.

but the dude has constantly tried his best to give TD less credit as possible...Bitter old man, IMO.

I will never forget the game this year against Lebron...No one in their right mind will repeat 237947324X player A and Player B are the best players in this team...

is it just me? or is there a little tension with Shaq and Barkley?

I think it's so wonderful that Shaq (whos a legend in my book) thinks highly of Timmy.... mad props to Shaq

well shaq competed against Tim throughout his career, and did win a 3peat through Duncan (well duncan didn't participate in 2000 playoffs), so if he props duncan up, it reflects on him too

Pretty much:lol

Shaq always rides Duncan, he always hypes their rivalry..

Shaq was right outside the locker room when Spurs beat Heat.last year giving high fives to Duncan. He roots for him for some reason

Shaq's greatest opponent was Duncan. But Jimmy's greatest opponent was a woman.

Trying to apply Shaq logic in this.

Widely accepted views
Duncan >= Shaq
Lebron >= Kobe

So Shaq may more may not be > Kobe

But if Duncan > Lebron by a wider margin than Duncan > Shaq, then Shaq > Kobe.

Fuzzy logic, I know, but that's as far as I can take this.

Chuck has owned Shaq many a times on that show. He just wanted to get Chuck back.

funniest shit I heard in a while, Shaq was giving a shout out to one of his kids for his bday

while going to commercial Chuck says "we got 40 games in 40 nights, you can give a shout out to each one of your kids"

:lol

:lmao they so clearly hate each other, Shaq can't take a joke and is insecure, Chuck only wants to talk shit to him

yeah. it's hard and ackward to watch sometimes but somewhat funny. Shaq tries to hard and always crossed the line with his jokes about Chuck. But every once in a while Chuck lands an upper cut to the ribcage that is hard to top :lol

I think it is more a reflection on how much they hate how Lebron has gone about doing things in his career

people still watch inside the NBA?

it used to be a really great, funny, insightful show.

but ever since shaq came on, and they put in all the gimics.....its become the same trash that made me quit watching ESPN.

inside the NBA really has become the monkeyball of NBA halftime/postgame shows.

To be fair, Barkley in his prime was more dominant than Mr. Bank Shot

It's obvious those two hate each other, but that's what happens when you bring in a wanna-be funny/tough guy to the TV set alongside someone similar. I thought Shaq was going to fling his coffee mug right at Chuck after they debated on the DPOY voting.

Noooo. They don't hate each other. It's just 2 strong personalities in the same room

They both truly think they are the better career players

I haven't watched it in years, outside of the occasional clip I'll catch on Youtube or something..Barkley's act became stale a long time ago, and Shaq is horrible..I don't think anybody watches it for any insight(at least I hope not, all 3 of them are morons, although Kenny is the lesser of evils:lol), making it pointless to watch now that it's no longer funny..

I feel the same way about PTI, too..I used to watch it when I was younger, because the concept was pretty cool, but I caught a few episodes a few weeks ago, and it's atrocious..

2003 Duncan > any shit Barkley ever did
2003 Duncan vs 1993 Barkley (Playoffs)
PPG: 23.3 (24.7) vs 25.6 (26.6)
TRB: 12.9 (15.4) vs 12.2 (13.6)
BPG: 2.9 (3.3) vs 1.0 (1.0)
APG: 3.9 (5.3) vs 5.1 (4.3)
FG%: .513 (.529) vs .520 (.477)
FT%: .710 (.677) vs .765 (.771)

I guess depends how your team is constructed. Ironically 2003 Spurs could have used 93 Barkley's scoring/shooting more and 1993 Suns used 2003 Duncan's defense/rebounding
