I remember a couple of weeks ago both Popovich and Malone both saying that they each had their own timetable of when they needed an answer? The general thought was that Malone would give the Spurs an answer out of respect to Pop's and RC's timetable, but since then I have not heard a word from Malone or the Spurs about what Malone plans to do? So the real question is, when is an answer expected?

Firts off Malone is not going any where.
and second? Most spur fans are riding the fence they won't say if they want him or not,

They are waiting to see if he makes the team then they will say something.

you just wish he was intersted in the mavs

he would help the mavs more then all 7 footers on the mavs

he actually plays d better then any mav
and can score
but nelson would not play him because he can not shoot threes

That's crap.

You must have missed the memo.

Most Spurs fans already said whether they want him or not. Most are passionate one way or another.

For example, timvp won't renew his season tickets if Malone is a Spur.

Others love for Malone to be in a Spurs uniform for a variety of reason.

Really, the Lakers need him the most -- Karl might indeed see it that way. He would also start in Miami, probably not here.

Still worth holding slot #15 for him.

I was a Jazz fan when they were beating the Spurs back in the day. So why do I care if Malone is a Spur?

I'm not a life-long, diehard Spurs fan. I'm just a bandwagoner like you. I jumped on the Spurs wagon when they drafted Tim because I was a fan of Tim's at Wake Forest.

You jumped on the Mavs wagon because you have a thing for Cuban.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The only reason I don't want Malone is because my husband will hate it and not enjoy basketball as much.

What's the holdup on Malone?

He's holding out for the headlines and he wants people to want him. Once the news dies down, he'll decide where to go.

Nowadays, he just cares about being the SportsCenter lead story and racking up the half time specials.

Real Spur Fans don't give a crap who plays on the team as long as they win a championship. That should be the goal, however many fans lose track of reality when wusses like Rasho and Hedo dress up in the black and silver and think they can become supermen.

Kori put down the beer you have been a spurs fan since Ice man let you interview him back in 1980. I have the photo of you wearing bell bottoms at the Hemisfare Arena

Real Spur Fans don't sell their playoff tickets to go bowling.

When hundreds of dollars are on the line and the TV is right above the lane, then I would say you are wrong.

When you can keep the ball on the lane without the gutter bumpers...... ummmmmmmmm..... give me a call.....

:wink

Well if thats the case, did you bowl the $10,000 tournament at Astro Bowl this weekend?

I thought I was the only competitive bowler on the forum, BTW who are you exactly? What leagues are you in, do you bowl tournaments?
