lol no, Leaf was an aggressive locker room cancer, not just lazy and fat, and Leaf put up worse stats in every category.

It will take somebody truly special to supplant Leaf as the #1 bust.

leaf wasn't even the #1 overall pick. we took russell in a draft where we could have taken Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, or Adrian Peterson... 3 of the 5-10 best players in the NFL since that draft

No he was #2, but chargers also gave up two players, that years second round pick and the nextyears 1st round to move up one spot:

Traded Eric Metcalf, Patrick Sapp, 1998 first round pick (#3-Andre Wadsworth), 1998 second round pick (#33-Corey Chavous), 1999 first round pick (#8-David Boston) to Chargers for 1998 first round pick (#2-Ryan Leaf) on 1998-03-12
