Hey guys,

In the aftermath of Kawhi being named the Defensive Player of the Year, I wrote about his growth over his first four seasons with the Spurs, and how his rapid ascension up the NBA ranks gives the Spurs something they haven't had in a very long time: A player with unlimited upside.

Hope you enjoy!

Didn't read, sorry, why is Kawhi the most tantalizing Spur ever? I've been a huge fan since day 1, but I don't really see how he's going to attract star attention across the league..

Leonard is showing he's a future star for the Spurs as well as the NBA

well dude has some major first hand sourcing. props Mark

And i agree with your main point, KAwhi is overrated roll player who will never amount to shit. Your points about the DPOY award being a sham are spot on. I agree that the warriors will totally obliterate the spurs but i think the spurs will lose to Houston first. I think you went to far in talking about his family though.

Leonard is a different bread. Though his lack of bravado and hushed persona make him the perfect apprentice for a nomad like Duncan.

I don't think that some of those words mean what you think that they do.

Perhaps you meant Leonard is a different breed. Which would make far more sense and a Nomad is a person who has no set abode or home and wanders from place to place,,, Which is true of Carlos Boozer but not so much of Tim Duncan. Stoic would work for Duncan though.

Yeah, bread was a typo, should be updated soon. Nomads generally have seclusive tendencies, which is the intended message here, although it may not land for everybody.

Thanks for the feedback.

You are looking for the word hermit, recluse or maybe even guru.... Nomad means to wander, move around, no set home... Duncan is the anti nomad.

Nice enough read without really saying anything. Definitely would be at home in a newspaper.

I don't know about the most tantalizing though...

Nomads do not have seclusive tendencies they are just wanderers without a fixed location they call home. Is English your first language? Duncan is far from a nomad his home is san antonio.
