Bob Hill is the reason Spurs didn't win '95. Rodman gets too much hate.

Spurs never made it 3 straight WCF finals, never gone to b2b finals. There is a first time for everything.

We never won five championships in a row , we never have gone undefeated in the regular season, we never, we never, who cares. There is always going to be something we've never done. When we beat Houston, then we can say " First time for everything"
GO SPURS !!!

They're just lucky to have never encountered the Spurs in the Duncan era.

I agree with you, pass this damn round first and as far as I know there is 2 games left. After game one most were talking like it was over.

These threads crop up every year where someone makes a thread about how it will be to face the next opponent when the Spurs are still in the middle of their current series. It's like the opposite of cliff-jumping but it's almost equally as idiotic.

It seems there I a competition going for jinx thread o the year...
Doing it on the road will be that much more fun. I wasnt cognitively aware of the Spurs in any reasonable way when DRob got "lost in the Dream," but a little revenge is certainly in order.
Like posted though, extending the curse of the Clips is all that matters right now. That and praying even harder Dallas at least wins 1.

I'm looking forward to KL v. Beard matchup. Length, quickness, and speed gives Beard problems. KL has all of that and his offense is really coming along nicely. Since Beard is the probable MVP, will the refs let the DPOY guard him? We'll see soon enough.

I feel like Harden still plays well against us regardless of who guards him...maybe it's just selective memory though. The problem with Harden is that he gets your best defenders in foul trouble. We're screwed if Green/Kawhi are in foul trouble all series and Belinelli ends up having to play a lot of minutes.
Like you alluded to, hopefully the refs let Kawhi get away with more since he's the DPOTY. That reputation can go a long way, tbh.
FWIW, I highly doubt Harden will get MVP. I'd bet a lot of money that Curry wins it. It'll go Curry, Harden, and then AD/Westbrook/LeBron in some order.
Houston is terrible. If we're lucky enough to beat the Clips that will be a comparatively easy series.

they had 2 before we had any......so when they won their first and then their second, they had more championships than us, until we got our third.....since then, they have not won more championships than us.

I vividly remember Sean Elliott missing a layup late in Game One that would have turned things around. Even though the Spurs lost, it was an epic series. It's not every day the HCA team loses the first two at home then wins both on the road to tie it up.
Houston was just too much for SA back then. 6th seed, defending champions, better backcourt, clutch players, and a dominant bigman...
Sounds familiar

they would've won if wasn't for Bob Hills fucking defense and not getting along with Rodman. Dennis was the reason they won games three and four. Hakeem destroyed Robinson because he went against him one on one. Rodman should've and could've helped David.
No, but we did get your star player past the 1st round, unlike you.
