Literally one of the worst players in the history of the NBA, tbh:lmao..

I can't think of anybody off the top of my head, but has a worse player ever torched the Spurs this badly in a playoff game in the Duncan era? What about in the Admiral era?

Can't believe the Spurs actually let this scrub beat them in the playoffs.

Absolutely embarrassing and the Spurs deserve all the ridicule for the performance they had today.

The Spurs defense was atrocious and Popovich never adjusted. Doc Rivers gave the Spurs a taste of their own medicine and screen and rolled them to death. Clippers guards had good looks all night.

Mills got raped by this guy. If only we could have hockey type subs, cause it's not just Rivers, Mills can't guard no one.

Yup...that game 3 was the nail in the coffin for us in 2010.

Malik Hairston

It's not really just on Mills, although obviously his D wasn't good..the bigs were all horrendous on defense tonight..

Well, no, he shouldn't..I'm not using hyperbole, this nigga is literally one of the worst players in league history:lol..

The fact that he even had 1 game of this caliber in the playoffs is embarrassing..

Chomag

Embarrassing is an understatement... Spurs should have never let a scrub of scrubs go off on them especially in the playoffs. Just a sad effort...

Been saying this all season that this Spurs team can be so lazy sometimes.

Solid player imo

This sometimes happens to the Spurs. It's happened many times before. A scrub player on the opposing team inexplicably goes off against us, leading to a playoff loss. It's been a trend.

What does the trend say about the longitudinal effects of the scrub player, though? Does it remain a problem throughout the series, or do they usually quell the problem after the first occurrence?

If he can score 16 points on the road against the defending champs, why wouldn't he do it against us playing at home?

Malik Hairston

:lol it is the equivalent of backcourt Ayres, as Mugen said..can you imagine Ayres dunking all over the Spurs in a playoff game?

Nah bro, shit players always have their best games against the Spurs. Hell they made Asik look like Hakeem. Bynum had 30 rebounds against them when Tim had 2. Bonzi Wells lit them up for 40 or so a night. It's common shit that someone goes off on them, Reggie Jackson anyone?

Well he better adjust because when they put Duncan in the screen and roll and Parker or Mills gets screened off that's leaving Duncan on an island with guards that can either blow by him or get a wide open jumper. Blame Mills all you want but this is basically the "Ginobili" play that the Spurs used to kill teams with. Geriatric Duncan can't keep up with these guys. And every time Duncan switched on Chris Paul today he got burnt to a crisp. Popovich never adjusted his defense.

Rivers went off on Mills in 2nd quarter and yelled out "that small guy
(Mills) can't guard me". Ever since that sequence he gained confidence that showed the whole game.

He scored on Patty, not Parker. Hence its stupid to think Patty should be playing 30 minutes a game on this team.

Neither PG should be playing big minutes. They have 3, they should play 3. The Spurs need a point forward type player who can defend and distribute. They currently have Manu but he's either a masterpiece or just a piece.

He was 2-2 vs. Parker in the 4th quarter, but ya, not defending Patty..the bigs were just as bad defensively as Patty and Parker..

I think fans don't appreciate how shitty Rivers is. Yeah, this is like Ayres going and getting the Spurs a must win playoff game on the road against a top team in the league. Rivers is worse than Playoff Jefferson. The last guard that bad I can remember on a Spurs roster was Lloyd Daniels.

No Rob...not today...Rivers was on the court with Mills, and he was scoring against Mills. Now Paul was a big factor tonight. But Paul is not a scrub pg. I know that one of your mantra's is Parker getting torched by scrub pg's - but that ain't what happened today.

Can you imagine the shitstorm on here if the Clippers had gotten that rebound and won the game due to the non-call on Paul?

That was a hell of a play by Green to keep the rebound away from two Clippers with one hand.

Funny, I didn't hear Doc Rivers complaining about the non-call on CP3 holding Danny Green
