never looks to take a shot when he penetrates.

He has never been able to make layups.

he never really could and now that he sees Jordan under the rim he turned into a vagina. Just like Tiago.

Have you not watched the Spurs for the past 4 years?

Green anywhere near the basket = throw the ball up in panic and yell for a foul to be called.

Probably the only player in the NBA with a two handed floater.

He can't really make anything at this point.

Yeah and I swear I've seen him at least take a midrange jumper now and then. And I think I've seen him even dunk. In any event, he's passing up a lot of shots that look like 7 footers.

He has no in-between game. It's either shoot a three or he goes to the rim awkwardly and throws up a prayer. You'd think he'd be able to pump fake take a dribble and step in and knock down a jumper. That's basic shit.

Dude is losing money by the minute.

Defense is decent, but he can't buy a bucket. Obviously they're focusing on him, but there is a reason Pop is playing Belli. At least he has a midrange game.

Green shouldn't take a floater or runner, that's just stupid..

They aren't running him off the line, he's just missing 3s..if he shoots his normal % from 3, it wouldn't matter..

It's amazing how every time he goes through a rough shooting stretch, Spurs fans defer to "they're running him off the line":lol..he's getting a ton of good looks, just uncharacteristically missing..

Mavs will take Green. Thx

Green actually shoots pretty well at the rim to 16 feet btw, he has been efficient the past 2 years from that range, but those are bad shots..he should stick to shooting 3s, just needs to make them, obviously..

He is the worst 2 guard in the league when trying to create his own shot. Would rather have Keith Bogans tbh..

Green struggles making layups against shot blockers, his release when penetrating isn't very stable, his shot mechanics are really off and his release looks low. A shot blocker forces him to change the angle of it just by being within his vicinity, and since his form is already off, he doesn't know how to adjust.

When he first arrived to the team, he couldn't hit layups or floaters at all. The past year or two he's been better at moving with the ball in his hands and making the close shots.

Unfortunately, he's choking right now and so, as you saw tonight, he can dribble well enough to get to the hoop with the ball, but he's very hesitant to shoot it and if he does, the ball goes nowhere near the hoop.

The Spurs have to focus on getting him going if we are going to eventually win this series.

Can he even hit a 3 consistently anymore?

Hes a great defender and 3 pt shooter but he is very one-trick pony and based on that I feel he wont be worth the money he is going to ask for this off-season, I know there are huge fans here but we would be having to overspend to keep him.

Instead of partying all summer with Lebron, Danny really should be working on other parts of his game.

They should. Jordan swats anything around the rim. You cannot go into the paint with some fancy layup with that dude there. Unfortunately Bonner can't hit a fucking shot so there's no one to bring him out.

I'm wondering if Danny will show up for game 1, later this year.

Stepped up against the Heat. He's got to do it again.

He def needs to work on a move for when he is chased off the three point line.

:lol why do people want Green to shoot floaters or runners over DeAndre Jordan? That's just stupid offense that plays into the Clippers' defensive strategy..

He just needs to make 3s, he's getting a lot of looks, just missing, which is unusual for him in the playoffs..

Green killing his contract year :lol
Parker PER: -1; Green PER: -5 :lol

Malik Hairston

He made them vs. Miami because they didn't have a shot-blocker..most players in the NBA aren't going to successfully shoot runners/floaters over Jordan, let alone a role player like Green..that's now how you beat the Clippers..

Im being dead serious when I say he cant. After game 1, I hoped the coaches would help him figure out something to do when he gets ran off the line (IE pump faking more, one dribble into a mid range jumper, etc). He hasnt adjusted well, and is losing his confidence.

He probably shouldn't start anymore. He's a 3-pt specialist that doesn't offer anything else aside from good defense. The Spurs need something from their SG spot. 0 for 6 in the game (all 3's) is complete buttfuckery.

His shooting goes through stretches where he can't make a shot. Unfortunately, that is always the same game where his defense lacks focus. So he doesn't really help on either end. I've always wondered if he had a hangover from alcohol or drugs from too much partying the night before.

As far as layups goes, he's the only guy I've seen in the NBA that looks like he has absolutely no coordination between his dribbling and making a layup shot.

With Parker on the hook for a few more years, it probably makes sense for both Green and the Spurs to part ways, tbh..

Spurs need another creator to offset Parker's decline and inability to create shots, and Green needs to go to a team with creators, since the Spurs no longer generate shots as consistently as they did in prior years IMO..
