Expect 50 free throws for the Clippers, 10 Jamal Crawford 3PT fouls, 48 illegal Deandre Jordan screens, 15 Chris Paul flops leading to free throws, Wingstop foul trouble throughout the whole game, and Kawhi's first technical for scratching his cornrows.

Don't even make a game thread. Let's just skip to Game 6 already, tbh...

The Bill Kennedy game

http://youtu.be/Du82gmEdWWo

"Our effort was there. I thought our execution was there. And they just made shots through a stretch there," a gloomy Tim Duncan told reporters. "Down the stretch for a period there, it seems like they got every whistle possible. That really changed the tides. We were playing tough defense. We were trying to make stops and try to push it back, and the whistle kept blowing and they kept going to the line and getting some free points there. That's them being aggressive."

Bill Kennedy has had a personal grudge against Doc since his Boston days, so no, we will not be getting any calls. The only way this crew would be any worse for us is if Marc Davis and/or Tony Brothers were also in it :lol

It's great for the Spurs, tbh. OP is just looking for an excuse in advance in case the Spurs lose. Plus, even though the Spurs have been getting damn near every call and no-call all series, all the vanilla mainstream fans have been buying into the "Clippers get all the calls" excuse that has been generated by the media's one-sided flopping narrative.

The Spurs can overcome the Refs by playing their best basketball. They need to play like it's game 7, so they can have a shot at closing it out here at home.

Doc Rivers' nemesis is Bill Kennedy. Rivers and Kennedy have had an acrimonious relationship for years. Both were fined following a game on March 17, 2009. Kennedy ejected Rivers after they stared each other down for an extended period of time.

Rivers was fined $25,000 by the NBA for his critical comments of Kennedy after the game. In an unusual move, Kennedy was fined for his handling of the situation and the news was made public, though the amount was undisclosed.

“[Kennedy] stood there and goaded me and goaded me and goaded me and stared at me,” Rivers said after the game. “Look at the film. I actually walked away. He asked me, ‘Where do you want the ball?’ And I said, ‘Ask them,’ talking about our players. That’s my right to say that, and I walked away. He stood there and stared me down and stared me down and goaded me until I turned around and said, ‘What?’ That’s when I got thrown out of the game.”

Disgraced referee Tim Donaghy, obviously not the most credible source, claimed to know the root of the ill will during an interview with the "Celtics Late Night Show" podcast last March. According to Donaghy, the beef has deep roots, with Rivers questioning Kennedy's sexuality during a game.

Damn.

Not close to what we witness on this board but too much.

So everyone apparently hates Bill Kennedy.

Hope so.
Flip side is Donny Sterling threatened to hire private eyes to uncover whatever they could on other owners and Stern Jr.
He had to be silenced.
Balmer comes in with a couple billion that gets Donald to hush.

Stern Jr. needing to rub Balmer back now?

Foster and crew with the cajones to make a monster call on the basket interference. Right call, and it probably would have been reviewed anyway, but making that call in that situation was big for the Spurs.

Don't think it's reviewable if you don't call it, so inside 2 minutes I think you automatically call it?

For once, I'm very pleased with the game that was ref'd and Spurs hit their freebies.

They had to call it goaltending, cause if they didn't, they couldn't have reviewed it.

Meh obvious interference and yes it would have been reviewed so even if they Clipped it. No? They did nutt up and it required the goaltend call?
Right after, when Green missed his second FT, Cliff Paul fouled the hell out of the rebounder and thankfully he got enough arm on it to muscle it over to Kwa.
But it was a serious arm hold on (Green i think) and the refs swallowed.

Well, MultiTroll, you got this one right. The L2M report from last night identifies this play -- at 4.1 seconds -- as having been an incorrect no-call:

https://cms.nba.com/official/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2015/04/L2M-SAS-LAC-4-28-15.pdf

Interestingly, the league also says that on the inbounds that resulted in Green's FTAs, Barnes should have been called for a foul for running through a legal Parker screen; that would have been a foul before the inbounds, which would have given the Spurs 1 FTA and another shot to inbound, so the miss probably wasn't a big deal.
