Hope that guy is okay, we need him for the rest of the playoffs.

If you watched the FSSW coverage, you could see him limping every time there was a timeout

Didn't that same thing happen vs OKC last year in game 5 and then Pop benched him at halftime of game 6 so we can win with the hero out and his public image intact?

Enrique would be perfect for the Grizz imo. Think there's any way they trade us Conley for him?

Honestly, hate or love Parker, but you have to respect his grit and the fact that he is trying for the team.

Same for Splitter tbh, he shouldn't play and he gave it all even if he sucked, you HAVE to respect that if your a real fan of bb/sport.

Doesn't seem to affect his willingness to shoot.

When Parker was last pulled for Mills, he was limping pretty noticeably. Above the rim camera caught it and then they switched to the hard cam where Tony gave Mills some advice before exiting.

Better still.... bench him on Thursday in favor of rest - win the game [key] and hopefully the severity of some of his maladies is lessened before the next round (given 4 days rest).

No doubt he is banged up badly, I admire him trying to play through that. Going forward though it won't be good nor will he heal without rest so in reality what will that mean for future series? Spurs could be fucked.

Parker is a warrior so I don't worry about him. He'll show up and kick ass as needed and if not, Patty is ready to fill in as needed.

.

He doesn't seem to have a proper injury, it's more "soreness" in different part of his body. It's more about pain tolerance imo, but the addition (ankle, achilles..) makes it tough.

I don't think he can re-aggravate by playing AND despite what some posters might think, we need him even banged up..

Why do you think Pop prefers a bad Parker rather than a fresh Cojo?

I think it's fairly obvious that whatever the injury is that has been fucking with him is more serious than he and Pop are letting on.

Why do you think Pop prefers a bad Parker rather than a fresh Cojo?No doubt, agreed. If he was hurt or out for extended time I don't think we are a better ball club with Cojo starting in his place. Cojo is just not that good IMO, as banged up as Tony is he is better than him at sucking the D in and an overall threat (Even if not that effective). Cojo starting a whole playoffs would lead to nowhere unless the others played lights out around him, he is simply not that good and overrated on here IMO. Patty is balling right now and doing his job, thank GOD because what is what we need when Tony sits.

I have no doubt you are 100% correct, that or a few injuries lingering and just keeps adding up. He is banged up badly but the Spurs never repeating and needing him right now forces him to stay in there. I wish game one never happened now, that kind of ruined his whole series IMO and he looked forward to it and the challenge of Paul but is not healthy enough to hack it.

Grittiest player in Spurs history, tbh.

It's one of many reasons why he's such a great leader... the way he's taken Kawhi under his wing and slowly given him more and more responsibility, even going as far as to tell the media that it's Kawhi's team now. It's easy to see why, even in Tony's hobbled condition (4-5 injuries that would individually keep most players sidelined), the team chemistry is at an all-time high. It's no wonder Boris is his best friend, and why he turned down more money for the opportunity to play with Tony.

He's just so selfless and team-oriented. It's beautiful to watch, tbh.

We should all feel indeed honoured to see him play for the Spurs. He is an all time class act great tbh.. Even when he fucks a team mate wife, he is doing it with class, no splash... just a bit of noise during two weeks and it's over.

We are blessed for so many reasons:

- He carried the Spurs during the dark times of RJ, RMJ... of Manu multiple seasons missing 20/30 games without complaining or asking to be traded
- He is an exemplar citizen, he is French but has decided to live forever in San Antonio with his family... He loves San Antonio and San Antonio loves him
- He gave the Spurs Boris
- He always shares his house during months to ease integration of his team mates
- He has a father / son relation with Pop that is beautiful to watch
- After Tim, he is the Spurs who played the most games for the Spurs... He runs miles and miles on each and every game offering his body for the greatness of the franchise
- He gave plenty of discounts to the Spurs so they can add parts

... this list is so long it's probably impossible to make

Third most important Spurs in history :cry
