Nothing surprising about that, classic Playoff Bonner

Paying the dude the Vet min. You really can't ask for anything more at this point. The fact that his fouling last night fuel the Spurs run from being down 6 to being up 7 means he does have value still. Will be useful in the next series as well.

What do you expect from an end of the bench 34 year old making the vet min?

Would you rather have Ayers out there??? :lol

I know, must confess I had much more faith on him than he deserved.

He can make a mean music video

+7 tbh.

To answer the thread title, yes. He's perfect for that role: 6 fouls on Jordan and is good enough on offense to justify being out there. Sure it's a cliche but the fact that he spaces the floor is actually true.

His three was huge, TBH.

He actually was useful last night. Yes, Bonner is obviously not a very good player at this point of his career, it's not easy to come in ice-cold off the bench and starting lighting it up from 3. HIs 5 fouls are useful in this series and even if he only hits one or two 3's a game, he's still keeping the defense honest, and forcing a big to stay on the perimeter, which opens up the lanes a bit.

He's been fine this series in select minutes. Lets not forget how terrible the Clippers' bench is.

I think he hit a 3 and grabbed a crucial rebound last night

Well a lot of our team can't shoot 3s right now. I think Bonner has been a bigger factor this series than Splitter and Baynes. Really isn't saying much though tbh.

he knows the spurs playbook by heart and knows where to stand on the floor. can't ask more than that from the ginger.

Isn't that more points than Tony per minute?

Yep, both the three and rebound were huge by Boner.
