Per Spurstalk logic.

When this team loses, you dummies lose all your senses.

Be consistent at least. Either he's a great coach or he's a shitty coach. Cant have it both ways spursfan.

Own the loss.

Spurs will win game 7.

I've said he's been a terrible coach for most of the season and especially this series where he's lucked into a 3-3 split.

He's an amazing coach made fatal mistakes in game 6, probably overcoached

He is a good practice coach, in-game he is one of the WOAT

No. He almost cost the Spurs Game 2, but Tim Duncan bailed the fucking team out for the 9,871th time

Pop had been gifted tremendous players. Tim, David, prime Manu.... Without them, Pop would have gotten fired quick.

if the spurs had a league-average replacement instead of pop for the past 4 years, we wouldn't be in the playoffs right now and duncan would probably be retired

He did his hacking shit in Game 2 when the Spurs were up late, instead of letting the clock run, HE KEPT STOPPING IT. You can't be more stupid than that

He is garbage...Duncan is the only reason anyone thinks he is better than Bob Hill.

Pop is the GOAT but he's not immune to coaching like a dumbass. And he has this whole series.

The coaching staff had nothing to do with this team's passivity. D was generally good, but O struggled. Agree with OP -- just own it, folks.

Being the greatest coach of all-time doesn't make you immune to bad games or drop-offs:lol..

Dad Killer had bad games, too, and also declined..

I don't think there is any other coach in the league who could have taken the Spurs to the Finals in 2013 and 2014, so overall he's an incredible coach. But tonight was an awful performance by him. The hacking was lunacy, it got everyone important in early foul trouble and it's not like the Clippers were burning shit up offensively at the time.

No, he's a terrible in-game coach, a great system coach. It's not something new. He consistently outsmarts himself.
- Not fouling up 3.
- Benching Bowen for Finley.
- Making Matt Bonner a playoff starter and the foundation of the Spurs front court.
- Playing Bonner over Splitter.
- Not playing George Hill in the playoffs.

I could go on. Four of the titles are attributable to Duncan. The two previous seasons were because the Spurs swapped Leonard for Hill and instituted a great system. Popovich's system is great. His in-game coaching is consistently bad.

Agreed. :lol at all the emo people saying this man is "garbage" or he sucks at his job. Dude won 5 rings in 15 years with different teams pretty much every time. Damn, this site is full of little girls after losses. DUDE HAS COACHED US TO 5 RINGS. People on here are such bitches. There's only 1 team out of 30 that can be champions every year. Everybody STFU, damn.

Because that would have worked well after watching Leonard and Ginobili both split their free throw attempts?
