Big adjustment and big risk. But Doc won the first hand and big.
His starters got tons of rest and clips didn't miss a beat with scrubs like hedo and Spencer in. Great adjustment

His ability to get Blake some rest before the 4th was huge. The Spurs didn't take enough advantage of having guys like Hedo in.

They also get rest during the inevitable hackathon.

Huh?
Hack-A-Jordan could force Doc's hand and get a shot blocker off the court. But on the other hand, it extends the game and gives Paul/Griffin more time to catch their breath.

I don't think it really made a difference, tbh:lol..
Outside of 2 games, this series has been a toss-up full of random, fortunate/unfortunate sequences in the 4th quarter for both teams..I'm surprised the Clippers haven't won the series already, considering how many Spurs players are playing poorly..

I dont think it has any to do with adjustments you could put a ham sandwich defending DG and he will still miss the shot.
Tiago always gets the ball in a bad place like 5 feet from the rim below the board in front the photo guys so the asshole never can make a single basket without battling and the board makes things more difficult for a quick shot.
Parker...no I wont say anything.
Most Spur players are gassed DG cant even run.
And even so we could win yesterday game by a mile if we had a decent coach not a old fuck interested in odd uncomfortable possibilities.

^^^ That won them the game no doubt, remember the announcers talking about how much rest he got and I was like shit the Spurs are in trouble.

pretty much. Blake was rested and it showed in the 2nd half
hopefully game 7 will be a different animal. and also hopefully spurs can fucking capitalize on Clips scrubs.

The Hack-A is still an advantage to the Spurs, even if it gives the Clippers rest. Doc has taken Jordan out of the game at least twice in game 4 and game 6. If Big Baby can't go he may have to go with Blake or Hawes at the 5.

The Hack-A-Jordan strategy is not an advantage to the spurs. Not only does it allow the Clippers to buy some rest and set up their defense, it gets us out of our offensive rhythm, although we haven't had much the entire series. I believe in the 2nd qtr, he shot 6/12 ft's and during that time span, we scored 2 fucking pts. However, I'm surprised Doc won't just take him out considering they have played well with him off the court. Also, it's not like any of our players are penetrating and getting into the lane and finishing at the rim. Parker can't even get by his initial defender so there really is no need to keep Jordan on the court. If Pop is going to hack Jordan, he needs to do it late in the 4th quarter where he feels a lot of pressure. There was one time we fouled him late in the 4th qtr of game 6 and you could tell from his body language that he wanted no part of those ft's and nearly air balled both of them. Quit the hacking early in the game unless we are down big. Just save it for the 4th qtr.

This has been evident when Jordan leaves the game, as the Clippers have actually looked even better when he's off the floor:lol..
They have gone on runs in 2 consecutive games when Jordan leaves following the Hack-a-Jordan..

I'm not really suprised tbh. For the most part, you're playing 4 on 5 with him on the court. Add the fact that we haven't been able to score consistently all series, it doesn't shock me tbh.

I also don't think the hack a faggot strategy will win it lose the game. We didn't lose last game because we went away from it. Our guys except beli and diaw didn't want to win
This game is going to be close unfortunately in a close game late, the home team usually wins game 7s

We had almost a 10 pt lead. Beli's hotness might have rubbed of on the other guys and got them going. The crowd was getting into it. Then Pop destroyed all of that with hack-a-jordan and got TD in a situation that lead to his 3rd foul. At some point let them play and stop overcoaching. Put the players in the best position to succeed and let them decide the game.

The funny thing is that the Clippers seem more worn down in the 4th when playing at home ... last game Blake got more rest but it was not as if he was making a difference. Paul and Crawford were making the shots.
