Having Leonard at the head of the snake has been a failure. I'm not saying Leonard is a bad player, he's a border-line all-star but he is not a go-to offensive player. He can't come through in the clutch and he can't hit free-throws, two enormous components to being a go-to offensive star. He's best saving his energy being used as the anchor of the defense and being a #2 option on offense when he's feeling it. Spurs have a steep hill to climb to remain relevant in the years to come. Wish I didn't have to see my favorite team crumble like this but it was only a matter of time.
