my take, they were only the better team because the spurs were pretty banged up at the end of regular season

They shouldn't have needed the refs to beat the spurs..

Props for arguably the greatest first-round series ever, and an instant classic overall. That was amazing. :toast

CP3 and Griffin really took everything the Spurs gave them, pretty incredible series for them. Spurs couldn't figure out how to stop them.

They aren't a better team, just have all their guys healthy. In the past we've caught them injured countless times, and we just moved right past them. Not this year. Now we're injured (Tiago, Tony's clitoris).

We also have an autistic player on our team so we should get some sort of bonus for that.

it's hard to like the clippers cause they're nothing but a bunch of flopping, whining cunts.

They did . . . until tonight, when the want was equal. They were also better at this moment in time, due to Parker's and Splitter's injuries and the Spurs clearly being spent from 3 straight deep runs, which was why I picked the Clippers beforehand.

Sometimes these things are just inevitable. I never, at any point in the series, got sucked into the Spurs winning. I knew it was the Clippers time.

A big deal will be made about the "defending champions going out in the 1st round" and "not repeating again", but this was a Conference Finals caliber series disguised as a 1st round one. The Spurs probably would have beaten any other 1st round opponent.

Definitely better starting 5. I think the teams overall are about as even as you can get, which the series bore out. Agree they wanted it more.

A big deal won't be made about it. Spurs were 6th seed and got beaten in 7 games by a higher seed. That's it and that's all.
