We couldn't defend. We couldn't hit shots or freethrows when we needed to.

We lost to the CP3 Clippers in the first round.

But that was May 2015 and I don't give a shit about that. That's when we had Tim Duncan.

That's in the past.

What about the future???

This thread is about what to do going forward.

How do you want to rebuild, Spurfan?

How do you want the team to play? (Do we still put defense first?)

What/who do we go after in the draft?

What moves do we have available to us for the immediate future?

What realistically attainable player do you want PATFO to acquire? (Gobert)

Who do you want on the team next year??? (Gobert)

Forget the past. Let's talk about the immediate now and the coming future!

kawhi is deservedly getting the max, but this current team minus duncan will barely be competitive

lamarcus isn't perfect but he'd be a pretty good fill-in to keep us relevant

It is kinda sad that the Spurs needed Duncan to basically average 20/10 to make the series competitive, but it is what it is. Spurs are revolve around Kawhi more next year, its gonna be interesting to see since I don't think they can rely on Parker or Manu being the engine of the offense.

No LaMarcus. I'd rather save the money, tbh.

Spurs will be back in it next year with basically same group minus some end of bench guys. Why not? They were a Tiago Splitter injury away from making the 2nd round, and still won 50 games. Peter won't blow it up unless Tim walks. If that happens, you might as well start watching NASCAR.

Thread titles should be corrected. There never was a big three. Big two was Tim and Manu. They're the ones that carried the team to three titles in five years in the mid 2000s. Parker's impact in the postseason was worse than Robert fucking Horry back then.
