I love Tim Duncan...who doesn't? But, at this stage of his career, with one good leg. He should not be the best player on the court for the Spurs.

And he clearly was.

A 39 year old center, who can no longer jump and can barely walk on 1 leg...outplayed our Teams future star. Pretty much every game in the playoffs.

If Kawhi's our future....the Spurs are going to need a LOT of help.

He outplayed our $45 million dollar point guard too. Fuck, Patty Mills outplayed our $45 million PG. And you want to whine about a guy on his rookie deal. smh - Player fans with a blatant agenda.

You call him Mr. Fundamental, but he really is Mr. Best Player on the Court.

To be fair, Spurs is too good to get high draft picks and San Antonio is too small to attract major free agents, it is amazing Spurs got Duncan enough help to win his fifth ring in the twilight of his career.

In a parallel universe, I wish I would have seen Duncan with a major market team. I really feel he would have achieved more than Kareem if he was with Lakers or Celtics.
