The NBA wanted the Clippers to move on. The game and calls are rigged. The only way to to stop that is to be up by ten or fifteen so it won't matter, but in close games you are handing all the power to the refs.
The Clippers won't get past teams like Golden State or Memphis.

This, Clippers got some reimbursement on their 2 billion dollar sale and it was our own fault. If we played well in game 6 we wouldnt have needed to be up 10-15 points to take the game out of the refs hands. Thats how it goes though, you let it get close, refs are gonna screw you unless you play perfectly, and we almost did. But I look at the elimination as not being all bad, now we can refocus, rest, and prepare for another deep run next season. I think we were very worn down from the last 3 seasons with deep high intensity runs into the playoffs.

McCutcheon with the goods, with Silver's blessing.
