The majority of us Grizzlies fans saw Thabeet being a bust coming miles away. The only surprise was Thabeet manage to be even worse than we all thought.

Many people within the Grizzlies organization wanted Curry, but our meddling owner Michael Heisley wanted Thabeet. From what I've heard only one person within the organization other than Heisley wanted Thabeet (Tony Barone Sr.). Luckily for the Grizzlies both are no longer with the team.

And to make matters worse, the Thunder wanted Thabeet too, but with him off the board they settled for James Harden.
