He is the only dude I see being able to fill in the "creative roll" that Manu will leave as a gap..

He's grown a lot in real madrid

I think Rudy and Beli are pretty similar in that they can pass but not create. I'd rather have Beli back since he knows the system already and has proven that he can hit big shots.

Late in the season and into the playoffs, Pop elected to play Marco in late game situations over Manu. To the extent that the Spurs think they need a Manu type (he's actually a fairly unique player, which makes him hard to replace when he's going well), Marco would seem to be the choice to fill that role if Manu elects to be done with the NBA. I think he's already got Pop's trust to play in what have usually been the Manu situations.

I think Rudy and Marco are compatible, Rudy ball handles much more

I oogled at Rudy when he entered the league, touting he was the next Manu when he joined the Blazers. But I'd have to say that Rudy's a better slasher to the rim and handles better, but Marco has better passing and 3's (which is what the Spurs need).

Rudy shriveled on the NBA... he can stay in Europe, tbh...

He's injury prone too. Need someone that can stay in the rotation.

Rudy De Colo. Rudy is obviously better but he's not gonna enjoy being in the NBA again. He almost left Portland if it wasn't for MVPaddy being one of the best teammates ever.

I'm pretty sure Rudy is making a lot of money in Real Madrid. Don't see why he'd want to come back. Even if he did, he probably wouldn't be cheap. There are a good number of players I'd rather the Spurs use the MLE to lure from Europe before considering Fernandez.
