we had a good run and im happy that patty mills got a ring for himself.

i dont like the selfishness of tony parker and pop, which patty dont deserve because i think he can give a much more big contribution somewhere else and get some better pay.

He has two more years on a pretty low contract, so no reason the Spurs would trade him.

I love Patty, but if we can get a pick for him I wouldn't mind trading him. If we have to choose between Patty and Joseph off the bench in a post-Manu backcourt, I think Joseph will be better. He's more of a natural point guard to run the second unit as opposed to Mills who is a scorer.

Josephs stats also confuse me. He's money in the mid range (46% over the last 2 years from 12ft to 3 point line) and in the D League shot 48% on 3's (35-73) in 12-13. I think he has great potential as a shooter, I think Pop needs to loosen the leash a little bit.

I also wonder if Mills would be enough to get Harrison Barnes from Golden State. Similar salaries, Warriors may not want to pay him when his rookie deal ends considering they'll be maxing Draymond Green and Patty would fit their team perfectly (maybe too perfectly).

I think Mills shooting will comeback with some time off especially now that he's 100 percent recovered from his shoulder injury.

Mills would have a bigger contract were he not hurt last offseason. Blessing in disguise.

But you're otherwise totally right on that. OP is emo - these threads are getting old

Going to the Cavs would be the best fit for Patty :toast

It's hard to believe he's only 32 considering how much ball he's played. He looked a little worn down this season from the grind of the last three years.

All those years of carrying the team on his back, tbh. The burden has taken its toll.
