You can just watch some amateur boxing or tune into UFC and fast forward through the 30 minutes of dry humping to see some low-tier striking.

Boxing has always been awesome. Floyd Mayweather boxing has never been awesome, unless you really like defense and counter-punching.

I love watching Floyd, I'm just pissed he ducked Manny for five years.

And you're not at all surprised by the outcome, right? He's going to be hard to hit, and he's going to counter, and he's going to win on points. That's pretty much what he does.

EDIT: Agreed on the timing. Would love to have seen that fight four or five years ago.

Floyd didn't duck shit. Even Manny's own trainer all but admitted they flip-flopped on steroid testing to duck Floyd all those years.

38yo Floyd vs 28yo Manny would still be the same outcome.

Manny can't land hits, Floyd exposes the pinoy's lack of defense and the skill level between the two would be like Duncan vs Sacre. Hell, a younger Manny would probably be knocked out.

Mayweather is essentially impossible to defeat but easy to dominate.

This is the current state of Boxing.

"easy to dominate"

Yet how many times has his opponents landed more hits?

Jabs don't impress me. Throw a power punch or keep running around the ring.

Doesn't explain how no fighter, except DLH, could work Mayweather on the ropes.

:lol who has ever dominated Floyd? That's almost as stupid as your post about how no one on the Warriors & Clippers would start on the Bulls other than Blake.

Yall need to realize homey is trollin' from Poland. Not even polish tbh.

Say outlandish shit (aka Mouse) then defend the fuck out of it with more outlandish shit ad nauseum. It's 101 tbh.

Yep.

Just look at Lucas' latest fight a few weeks ago on HBO. Another good back and forth brawl

If Provodnikov hadn't gotten cut accidentally early on, that would have been an even better fight than it was.

Canelo vs Kirkland should be a great fight this Saturday. Looking forward to that one.

No doubt.

If Kirkland can take canelo's shots early and put the pressure on him, canelo will be in for a long night.

It's not even Floyd's style. Whitaker pioneered that "outbox you and make it boring" style when people criticized him for knocking guys out too fast. I think Mayweather just doesn't want to get hit. Not that I blame him. The only thing better than making 100 jillion dollars is doing it and not getting your face messed up in the process.

Me too. Now that he's no longer training with Anne Wolfe I'm curious to see if his new trainer is gonna be able to get the best out of him.

It is boring as shit but he is a very skilled boxer tbh. For a casual fan no, for a purist he is great to watch.

That being said I like the 80's boxing a ton better when they would all slug it out in that division. So much comp it was crazy.

Definitely with you on the second part. That was a crazy deep division.

Any boxing fan with a brain can see that he's extremely skilled, and that he's technically amazing. His defensive skills are incredible. A purist may enjoy watching him, but even purists don't like a one-sided fight that goes to the scorecards.
