Honest question here. That cap space looks intriguing.

I guess the forum space looked intriguing as well since you made another Parker level post... you know, lots of time on the court, nothing to show for it, dragging the entire thing down... that kind of thing.

Can you answer the question now that you're in here at least?

Symbollically. I actually cannot stand that corporation.

I am not rejoicing over this, but Parker just got arrested.

Much much better.

You don't get cap space for cutting someone, unless you stretch. This isn't football.

So you can. I was right then. Chinook already explained this already tbh.

spurs would be foolish
training him for alridge and keeping splitter would be different
if you get rid of tp Duncan will retire
takes a year to build chemistry with a new starting point guard

i'd be pleasantly surprised if tony was traded. waiving is meh because we still eat the cap hit, and he can still help the team if he accepts his more limited role

Feels good, but messing up the motion offense, overdribbling and ruining team spirit is important to the FO and many posters here

I'm not looking to jump on any Parker Hater trains or anything, but...would there realistically be interested takers? I'm not saying I don't believe Tony Parker will get healthier and hopefully look better than what we saw lately, but do other teams believe that? Are they willing to bite given the rough year he's had coupled with his contract?
I guess I'd be willing to believe some idiots somewhere like the Knicks might still be willing to roll those dice, but I don't see what assets we'd get back.

I'd be fine with some future picks and the cap space from dumping that contract.

Ha! He tried to trade TP for CP3 but, yeah that didn't go so well. Jason Kid before that, but oh yes.

And then Hornets (at the time) traded CP3 for guard Eric Gordon (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3431/eric-gordon), center Chris Kaman (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/1982/chris-kaman), forward Al-Farouq Aminu (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4248/al-farouq-aminu). Bad decision, really. Tony today would look awesome next to Antony Davis, and quite frankly with CP3 we would have won Back to Back and will be going for the three-peat now... Oh I can only dream :)
