I have a Ram with a 5.7 Hemi. I guess im just wondering the longevity of a gasoline engine. Im at 42000 miles. So pissed at myself...today would have been my last payment on my last truck that i traded in for my current one. traded a 14k balance for a 43k one... It was also a 4x4 Hemi, but wasnt fully loaded and only had 62k miles on it....regrets.....regrets.....would only have 106k miles on it and paid off...:(

Any modern truck should be able to go 200,000 miles easy. I sold my last truck (6 liter Chevy 2500HD 4X4) at 225,000 to a guy I know and He has 325,000 on it now and still hasn't had to do any major engine or transmission work.

do you pick up any child hookers in your badass trucks?
My dads 2000 Chevy is still going strong at 150k plus with no major issues except the heater core just recently went out. Chevy makes good trucks I'm happy with mine but it only has about 4k miles on it
170k, never had any major issues and don't foresee any in the future.

Still got my 2002 Chevy Silverado 4x4.
350,000 miles. No major work done....only routine oil changes. Best $$$ I've ever spent in my life.

Yep...a lot of "highway miles" on that truck. Drove back and forth to school (300 miles round trip) more times than I can count.
Also did a lot of Mississippi to North Carolina trips when I was in the Army.
I see.. ive spent so much time driving though, I dont envy u bro lol

Yeah...thank God all that stuff is over. Now I only drive 20 miles back and forth to work. :lol
Think about people like truck drivers....they literally put in millions and millions of miles. We both don't envy them....

A 4x4 05 Toyota Tacoma duel cab trd sport with about 98k and its still purring like new. Only major thing I have had was the break system somehow got damaged so I had to replace a few things there but other then that its been great.
Its my first truck that I have owned and I don't think I can ever go back now lol

I miss my Tacoma...but when I sold it, it had close to 200k miles and never had an issue.

93 Chevy S 10....248,000 and runs like a dream. 99 Ford F 150 188,000...been a few problems...sensors, and bad ac blend door. That blend door is a pain in the ass to fix. 2005 Chevy Colorado 4 door...60,000...best truck I own. It is as quiet as my wife's car.

Not mine, but my pops has a truck (still runs) that has 420,000 miles on it. '84 GMC, (I think). Some rust issues (body is metal) but overall very little work considering the longevity. That things still going to be able to run 20 years after the world ends.
