Very interesting thoughts. Highly doubt this happens but one can dream.

Spurs have two betas in Parker and Kawhi, why the hell they need one more?

Never gonna happen and I seriously doubt its even a thought in the Spurs F.O. Durant has serious foot issues too. To gamble on far-fetched hopes that he would leave a place he has already said he doesn't want to leave is ridiculous.

We go from never expecting to land a big time star to hoping we sign the likes of Aldridge,Gasol or Durant?

Durant isn't coming to SA.
Gasol isn't coming to SA.
Brow isn't coming to SA.
Aldridge probably isn't even coming to SA.

Time to re-sign Bonner, tbh.

obviously i'd much rather have a healthy durant than aldridge or gasol, but that will never happen in a million years lol the more i think about it, the more i'm realistically excited about the prospect of getting aldridge. I mean he may not be able to carry us to a championship, but watching him and kawhi lead us to the playoffs is a hell of a lot better than whatever the alternative is.

I don't see it happening. But if the Spurs whiff on Aldridge and Gasol, they are going to have a whole lot of money in 2016-17.
