But is the media still talking about it?
TBH, I think the Spurs lost that series bc oh Hack a Jordan. Rockets are going to lose as well. They lost their offensive rhythm.

They lost that series because our old coach was hacking DeAndre when Spurs had a 9 point lead and some other stupid decisions so I wouldnt blame it just on the Hack a.

Hacn a Jordan makes sense if you look at the expected value, Jordan on a good day shoots %50 which 1 point per possession. Clippers against us scored about 1.2 points per possessions. That's about +1 a point every 5 hacks. Not all the time works that way but it should "even out" in the long run. But ICY streaks should be more frequent than HOT Streaks, and if that decides the close games you have a pretty good chance of winning that series. And we did, actually we were a ref call away or a missed half court-shot from advancing.

Min a series so close, probably 100 individual things could have impacted the outcome. But it just seemed that almost every time the Spurs did that they played worse and couldn't take advantage of Jordan's misses.

It was stupid when Pop started employing it in Game 6 when the Spurs offense was rolling and the Clippers offense dying, but otherwise it's a worthwhile strategy. If it wasn't for faggots like Parker and Harden shitting the bed the strategy would work.

He had a dude like Marco going with 6 3 pointers and he was fast and ready to rumble, Pop benched him ītill the 4th quarter with 1:20 something remaining, that was dumb he should step into the court with at least 5 minutes to secure the home game, he made the last 3 pointer (number 7) and the next one Kawhi missed, we lost and blew our HC for the second time.
Patty was strong that game too, but ate too much bench missing the closer.

Hack-a-Jordan is actually working really well for the Rockets tonight, despite the score..
I agree that Pop's timing of it was pretty horrible, though..stupid overreaction..
Spurs were controlling the game prior to Pop going to the hacking IIRC..in this Rockets-Clippers game, Houston just can't defend..on non-hacking possessions, their D is allowing 1.35 or so PPP, which is pathetic defense..

I've never seen a team employ the strategy, and actually win a game. It throws your team off of rhythm, both defensively and offensively. And unless the free throw shooter misses every free throw, the ones that he does make are still points that add up.
Also, by continuing to foul the guy, it puts your team further into foul trouble.

using it on clippers is hard because clippers sometimes a lot of the time gets the rebound
