He won't we are left in the hands of the b-ball gods because we won meaningless pride games.

Whatever we get tonight we will deserve if lose the pick, I blame our FO and coach for being stubborn to the tank ...and they will have reaped what they have sown ...especially if it leads to their outster...

If we get a top 3 pick that is what the real fans that have stayed loyal deserve ...some hope ...

There are the Knicks in mix.

I'd be happy with a Top 3. Towns, Okafor or D'Angelo Russell are safe picks. no bust in that system

I think Stanley Johnson is going to be a steal. he should be a top 4 but recent draft mocks have him at 9-13. that dude is a player. great physique and insane athleticism, looks like mini bron. id be happy with him too at # 4 or 5.

That is what I am hoping for as well. Mudiay, Henozoja are boom/bust. Winslow, WCS, upsides are limited. they may be good players but I doubt either will be great. Lakers really need to hit a homerun no matter where they pick. I wouldnt go for the boom/bust guys but I get why they may go that route. If you get Winslow I think he will be a solid Ariza type pick ...but he would be better fit on a contender.

I don't understand the hype in Mudiay tbh, dude played in the CBA lol. If Silver can rig a draft, this is it. Give The Lakers and Knicks the top 2 picks

Clarkson developed fine ... (1st team all-rookie) with BScott so did CP3, RJ, Tyson, DWest, KKittles and Kenyon Martin ...before that.
No I am not a Scott believer but facts are facts.
My issue with Byron is the old school mind-set towards analytics and his refusal to tank ... he makes rookies work for playing time that is one old school mentality I appreciate. HE didnt play Clarkson much and I was pissed but he made him earn that PT in practice ... which was better for him in the long run ...

I remember watching Gentry easing on down in one of those chairs a few years ago. He looked like he was about to cry. I turned to myself:::"Thank Christ, you'll never had to sit there, old man."

:lol Mitch isn't getting fired even if/when The Pick stays in Pennsylvania. If that $30 million Luke Walton contract and bringing in Kwame Brown didn't get Mitch fired, nothing will.

Luke Walton was an integral part of the Lakers. He's also a champion. Don't be salty .

If we are winning rings I don't care if we pay ezaus mother 30 mill to just blow the team. But no Luke was worth maybe 3 mill a year in his prime. We also signed him to that when our team was barely makin the playoffs. No one else was coming.

At least these pricks here will be in place as well. Alex Len is sitting in for them. They always have to make a scene.

They can't get out of their own way, they don't need any road blocks. They have an owner more concerned about entertainment than winning. He wants gymnastics instead of basketball, and they'll continue to burn for it.

An independent firm does the lottery. He almost certainly can't rig it.

We'll have the #2 pick, Jeanie has been exchanging sexual favors 24/7 to secure it.

No Franchise players. At the most, 2nd tier players. They'll have to prove their worth in the NBA in order to be franchise players.

Thanks.

I don't get why people wouldn't want the Lakeshow to get the #1 seed. Next season's drama of cancer throwing "the future" under the bus would be a hilarious sub-plot.

i remember there was this writer who made a story that made a compelling argument that you can make every single team that has gotten the #1 pick and make it sound like it was rigged for them. wish i could find it.

This draft doesn't have the depth of last years. Top 3 guys from last year were definitely franchise.
