His scoring is overrated. He took advantage of smaller, less athletic guys on the college level. His footwork is good, but not quick enough to score consistently in the league. Not a great vertical either. Towns fits today's game better with his length and lateral defense, plus his scoring is solid as well.

Well, I hope LA goes big. I think the big man FA's are where it's at this year and if LA is chasing the Rondo's more power to them. I don't love the big men in the draft and from the very limited research I have done, Russell/Muiday seem to have the most star power so I hope LA doesn't take them.

While getting a star guard doesn't guarantee you a title, it seems to help put you into place quicker. Right now LA's wings/guards are bad and if LA is picking based on helping Randle, that seems ok with me.

I would not be surprised for LA to take a guard. They seem to like to trade for their big men or do that in FA, especially with one young big man already.
