Worse over Tim. I know he faded some down the stretch and playoffs shouldnt factor but no way is Pau (love him) on a 2nd team over Blake or duncan ...

Pau also faded some down the stretch ...

Duncan is a C.

Pau had a heck of a year though. I think Blake should be over him, but I don't think it's as laughable as people think it is.

No doubt. he was definitely 3rd team at LEAST ...
Sure we all know duncan has been a center for years ... but when you call someone the best PF ever ...and he used to play that I think tim should have been 2nd team no issues with bigger Gasol getting first ... and Deandre was really good in stretches ... IDK i guess Jordan did deserve over him if going by center ...

And tbh who cares in the end? Congrats to Pau and everyone else. It's usually the selections the media gets right more than not ...

Boogie was way too high.

Marc Gasol should be second team, Duncan should be first. Not that Duncan was that good, but Cs sucked last year, and both Boogie and Gasol missed too much time.

MVPau was too high, should have been 3rd team, but he is finally getting some recognition and making up for the MVPs and FMVP awards he should have been getting back in 08 to 10.

Has there ever been a time that an All-NBA team had brothers on it?

No

Duncan had ORTG of 113 and DRtg of 97, a BPM of 5.5 (0.8 O, 4.7 D), 9.6 WS and 0.207 WS/48
Gasol had ORTG of 111 and DRTG of 100, BPM of 4.8 (1.3 O, 3.5 D), 10.2 WS but 0.182 WS/48

Duncan has Gasol beat in most of the advanced stats.

Answer my question first then I'll get to yours. That's how gentlemen do it.

Answer my question first then I'll get to yours. That's how gentlemen do it.

Read what you wrote, if either of the two statements you wrote above was proven false, then your original assertion of Gasol > Duncan in the All-NBA team selection is incorrect.
If both the Grizz and Spurs miss the playoffs without their respective stars, your assertion is inconclusive
If both the Grizz and Spurs make the playoffs without their respective stars, your assertion is inconclusive
If the Grizz makes the playoffs and the Spurs misses it, it contradicts with your assertion
Only if the Grizz misses the playoffs and the Spurs makes it will support your assertion.

Whether the Spurs makes or misses the playoffs without Duncan, viewed in a vacuum, is inconsequential to the question at hand, which is whether Duncan or Gasol deserves the 1st team All NBA selection.

And to answer your question, I think both the Grizzlies and Spurs make the playoffs without their respective stars.
