Why Lebron settles for outside shots in clutch time will forever baffle historians. He could've just taken it to the hole.

I don't understand it either. Especially when GS goes small. They have no shotblocker in the paint that could begin to challenge Lebron at the rim but he wants to settle. I'm still griping about that last shot he took in the 4th with all that time on the clock to get a better shot. When you see all of Jordan's game winners they're fuckin simple. No hero ball fadeaway from the 3 point line bullshit. Just hard dribble pull-up daggers. How hard is that for Bron?

LeBron James with 44 points on 18-38. That's a great percentage. He's only going to get more tired as the series progresses since he's the only reliable offense.

Golden State once again proves on the court their mental toughness.

I really thought the Cavs would pull this one out, and then lose the next four.

It was looking that way. GS figured out CLE's defensive scheme relatively fast. GS didn't move the ball well, but they figured it out. The playing Moz/Thomp came up aces, but you could see that probably wouldn't be sustainable along with the ISO's for Lebron for an entire series.

GS was going to figure that out so fast, but now it might be a sweep.

True, I just feel like Love wants to be the man on the Cavs and its just not gunna happen. If he's there next season watch him start pouting about not being used correctly or not getting enough shots. On top of that the Cavs essentially made it to the finals without him.

This is the mental toughness and coaching ethic the Thunder completely lacked when they reached the finals.

:lol What are you talking about? The Warriors are on the verge of completing the luckiest season in NBA history probably. Nothing about this team can be properly gauged.

They've had: Incredible health luck throughout; the playoff match-ups break perfectly for them on the final night of the regular season; avoided 3 of the top 4 teams in the West; Holiday, Evans, Conley, Beverley, Motiejunas, Love and Irving either out altogether or playing injured; no fluke buzzer beaters go in against them, no crucial call(s) not go their way.

As much as I hate the Thunder, give their '12 team everything the Warriors have had going for them and this opponent, in their current state and they absolutely win the championship in five probably.

In that light, makes perfect sense. But there is such a huge difference in getting there and having a legit shot to win. You can see how badly Lebron needs help and Love (despite flaws) was helping CLE. Defense wasn't great, but he was a net positive player for them.

But he will have to commit more mentally. The trade could definitely look bad in a few years, especially if Love bolts, but he would be useful right now.

:lol How is it amazing? Any all time great at or near the peak of their powers should have had this team in the Finals, given the laughable path and how banged up the already flawed other "elite" teams in the conference were.

For some reason, their role players are not getting enough credit either. I don't care how bad or thin they appear on paper, in reality a bunch of them have played well. Above their head well, but still.

This is the worst playoffs I can remember seeing and it's being capped off by a farce of a Finals, with one team and one player getting far too much credit for having an incredible amount of luck.

For sure - I just think Love has gotten lost in the shuffle due to role (like Bosh did) and because CLE reached the finals due to Brons greatness. He was helping, but he's still got a lot to prove.

Actually they need Kevin Love more than they need Wiggins. It's not Love's fault that somebody injured him.

The Cavaliers don't have any quality bigs on their bench and the 2 that they do have aren't as talented as Love and can't spread the opponent out past the 3 point line like Love can.

Also Wiggins being a horrible outside shooter and not being good at much else wasn't going to help the Cavs.

I agree that it's a travel. Just IMO a tough one to swallow for Cavs fans with all the blatant travels that are allowed throughout the season, obviously because it was with 2 or 3 minutes left to go in game. Al Horford got away with something similar to win a game for the Hawks in the postseason.

Warriors didn't look all that impressive. Cavs had a shot and blew it. JR Smith is an absolute cancer and needs to be benched. But then who do they even go to :lol. Take out Lebron and that roster doesn't make it out of the first round.

Lebeta had 38 shot attempts today. Just the other day he had 37 vs Chicago but once again he'll get a pass while most players would be labeled "cancers and chuckers."

By comparison, with 9 more shot attempts, Kobe pumped in 81 (he won). And these farmers bragging about LeHype's 44 (he lost).

Love is trash. The Cavs wouldn't have held the W's to 98 points in regulation with Love in the lineup.

Even if you think Love is overrated or whatever, they don't even have a 3rd big right now:lol..it's pretty stupid to think Love wouldn't help a their terrible bench or add a different dimension to an offensively challenged frontcourt..

Their bench was outscored by 20+ and they were outrebounded by 13..

Tough. I think he could be better as the first big off the bench, but as a starter, which is what he would have been, he would not have been the physical presence that Tristan is, especially on the offensive glass.... But I see what you're saying...they didn't have much of a chance filly healthy, and losing depth anywhere hurts their chances more.

Lets get to the point. The Warriors are not playing good enough to win this game. They're playing like a weak minded Eastern Conference team at this point of the game.

Curry has played awful. There has been a ton of uncharacteristic missed shots from key players. Draymond Green is nonexistent.

From the start, the Warriors played like they just wanted to give this game up. The should have came out with a better effort than game 1 and they didn't even play that well in game 1.

They've shot too many desperation threes. They need to get their threes in the flow of their offense. They've lost confidence in their offense and once that happens against a LeBron led team, you've given up your will to opponent.

Curry cannot afford to have a bad game this series. Had he made more than half of his shots, they'd be up. This is embarrassingly disappointing because Kyrie Irving is out and Del is showing him up. Most of all, he's the MVP.
