This warriors team looks like it can dominate for the next few years, the only team that may have a shot at them is a healthy thunder team :lobt:

Feels like the dominance the thunder could have had if they kept Harden instead of Porkins :lol

Never take health for granted with Curry.

Meh, we always get our nipples hard over a young great team. A 3peat is the best case scenario tbh

No. He was recruited by Kobe, who knew better, but, did it for Kupchak.

Is not screwed they play good basketball, nothing like the shit made by the cHeat and Cleveland that was sad.
LeGOAT will beat them. Kawhi manhandled them not too long ago, no reason why LeGOAT can't do the same imo.

Too bad the Thunder will go disbanded in the near future with Durant walking elsewhere as a free agent. The only team that may challenge the Warriors are the Pacers with Paul George back 100% mentally and physically imho. Memphis gave the Warriors more challenge than any other team did and would possibly do in the playoffs, and a healthy Pacers team are an upgraded version of Grizzlies tbh.

They join the Spurs and Thunder in running the West, but they're about to lose Draymond Green and their depth.

What makes you think that? Speights might walk and who gives a shit about Barbosa. With Lee's contract coming off the books in 2016 they can afford Green on a max deal.

Too many unpredictable variables to say that the Warriors are going to go on a Russel like Celtic run. I remember back in the summer of '01 they were a bunch people that believed the Lakers were going to win 10 in a row with Kobe and Shaq. I remember getting into an argument with a bunch of guys at a party and saying that once Duncan gets help the Spurs will take out the Lakers. Everybody laughed hard at me thought I was crazy but history proved my point 2 years later.

The only bench mainstay is Iggy. They'll lose those three, Livingston, Etzeli, and Bogut soon enough. Not to mention they've gad extraordinary luck with health.

I was hopeful in the Magic signing Green but now he's a hot commodity. Everyone will be wanting to put money on him.

The Bogut factor is going to be huge going forward. He's clearly their second most valuable defensive player in the squad and his impact without putting up huge numbers is unsurpassed. I'm surprised no one has brought him up yet.
If you look at the landscape now, yeah, they're going to run the West for a few years, if health permits. I think they're capable of winning 2 in a 5 year span, unless a major shake up happens with FA signing.

Yup...you never know what kind of trades or injuries might happen over the next few years.
Look what happened with Miami...

I remember when they offered us Bogut, Thompson and Barnsie for Gasol. Fuckin' Kupchak turned it down.
We'd be sittin' pretty now, by God.

Warriors dodged a couple of bullets. I remember the Klay Thompson for Kevin Love trade rumors last year.

+ they traded Curry to the Suns. Christ, I'd a never heard the end of it. I would either have had, you know like go crazy with Girl's gun, or, refuse to put on my seat belt.

I'd be shocked if he stays in New Orleans. I just imagine him walking to a team like the Lakers, Celtics, or the usual.

5+years. lol
Let the West res-stack itself and we'll come back to this thread.
They did their thing this year but I dont expect any sort of repeat next year or the next.

I agree, that or one title and then they never go back to the Finals (OKC but they lost the finals). Some other teams will come up or one guy will leave etc., then the team seems to slowly go down hill. I like the Warriors team but 5 years of dominance is pretty much hard to do unless you are out East (Heat).

Repeat is their ceiling tbh, or maybe 2 titles in 3 seasons even Spurs never repeated with a Hof big and SG and a top 3 coach all time.

Although I said you can't assume these things in the NBA, the OP is probably correct if they stay healthy and keep their guys, although I'd say 3 years or so, maybe not 5..
Curry is the 2nd best PG of all-time, he's in his prime, his ankles seem fine, he's not going to stop being dominant, all of a sudden..
I think the Spurs can challenge them if they get Aldridge and if Parker suffers a season-ending injury, and OKC could if they stay healthy, but there's no reason to assume they will, at this point, since they have suffered from major injuries every year since 2012..
