Maybe they realize Parker needs to lose some weight..

But what do you think? If you're a Manu fan and argentine fan, do you sense some sort of double standard here?

This guy's obsession with Parker is so strong it carries into an offseason after he promised to stop posting.

Does Tony have a fracture in his leg?!

OP's right on the mark. Parker has missed around 45 games the past three years. He's clearly injury prone. And he STILL decides to play for France after the Spurs gifted him that overly generous extension. Most selfish/despicable player this franchise has ever seen. SA fans are paying for his livelihood every time they buy a Spurs ticket and he spends his off-seasons in peewee competitions playing for France.

Do the words broken leg mean nothing to you? Tony is just fat, not structural damage.

I'm not down on Parker like a lot of folks here, but I do think if this is the last run with the traditional big 3, then it would be best for Tony to take the summer off for organized basketball. There are better ways to get in shape during the season. If it were the Olympics, I'd understand, but France has enough talent to win without him this offseason.

I don't know why OP is upset about Parker playing during the summer time. The OP should be happy considering that Parker playing during the summer time increases the chance of him getting injured during the regular season.

Its even worse if you think Manu asked to play in World Cup and Porker is allowed to play for meaningless Euro tournament

:cry But France is hosting the tournament. It's so much more important this year :cry

I brought up this double standard in another thread.. it makes no sense. Parker does need to get leaner but him playing high impact Euroball is not the answer. He needs to be in SA on a strict diet and intense cardio. Hopefully PATFO is planning to serve the letter right before he boards the plane to troll his ass for thinking he deserves to go play extra basketball after the worst most uncharacteristic season of his career.

manu had a stress fracture Don't state the obvious and the logical. :lol It goes against the agenda of several people who are delusional enough to call themselves Spurs fans while vilifying our coach and players.

well i think it is more a case of being a bad pr move than anything. the spurs are really big in europe, much bigger than in the usa, and i believe they have to be very big in france. considering the championship is in france, it would hurt not to allow tony to play. For manu there was a very good excuse.

Manu's also had his opportunities to play. Besides it shouldn't matter anymore what the Spurs do since he's pretty much decided to retire.
