They're just successful people, not rich, or are only nice and generous after the fact. Fortunes are built by the philosophy the means justify the ends. Edison is a great example of a good man who built a fortune and even he was not exempt from the requirements of let's call it success in business . I'm not talking about someone who has a nice job. I mean a fortune. Going by that definition Floyd does not have a fortune, but he lives by that philosophy.

Some fighters doesn't respect Floyd because he's the antithesis of a boxer. He wins by points. He stacks the deck, he runs and hugs and throws the least amount of punches en route to victory. It's no wonder ATG fighters like Ali, Hagler, Tyson, Holyfield and DLH doesn't like him. Those guys have been through war.

Mayweather's best fights in his legacy were Corrales and Hatton. The rest are either past their prime (Pacquiao, Mosley, DelaHoya) fighting above their weight classes (Marquez) or dehydrated (Saul Canelo). He was schooled twice (Castillo, Maidana 1) and simply won those cards because of corrupt Vegas judges.
