honestly that's the one thing you have to respect about Floyd.

I'm not really interested in him as a person. Shit, Warren Buffet disowned one of his granddaughters. Rich dudes don't get rich by being nice guys.

Floyd learned the system and manipulates it to his benefit. Can't hate that.

Actually... most of the rich people I know are extremely nice and generous. My only knock on Floyd is his immature behavior with the ladies. He's far from a boss in that category.

Also... you have to respect his dedication to the sport. I've seen Ali, Tyson, Jones, Leonard, Duran, Hearns... and many other greats show up out of shape and lose to lesser opponents. Floyd comes prepared.

They're just successful people, not rich, or are only nice and generous after the fact. Fortunes are built by the philosophy the means justify the ends. Edison is a great example of a good man who built a fortune and even he was not exempt from the requirements of let's call it success in business . I'm not talking about someone who has a nice job. I mean a fortune. Going by that definition Floyd does not have a fortune, but he lives by that philosophy.

It makes me sad, KAM. The man had the potential to have the heavyweight division renamed to "Tyson's hit list", but mad dumb mistake after dumb mistake. If he had a good camp throughout his career and good financial advisors, he'd be a billionaire boxing legend instead of what he is now.

Some fighters doesn't respect Floyd because he's the antithesis of a boxer. He wins by points. He stacks the deck, he runs and hugs and throws the least amount of punches en route to victory. It's no wonder ATG fighters like Ali, Hagler, Tyson, Holyfield and DLH doesn't like him. Those guys have been through war.

Mayweather's best fights in his legacy were Corrales and Hatton. The rest are either past their prime (Pacquiao, Mosley, DelaHoya) fighting above their weight classes (Marquez) or dehydrated (Saul Canelo). He was schooled twice (Castillo, Maidana 1) and simply won those cards because of corrupt Vegas judges.

Just comical how an illiterate nigga can be so calculated in and out of the ring. IIRC Floyd is the only boxer ever to have a piece of the concessions at his fights.. every drink and hotdog that's sold, he's got a piece of it.

Also, can't forget him paying 750k to get out of Top Rank and become his own boss. Greatest sports business move ever

Reading every word.

Is Manny "reading" his tax forms, or just continuing to not pay them?
