My hands are clean, I gave Kobe his severance pay and told him that was that. If he comes back, that shit is on Buss & Chaz's hands.

He produced income, he was given a generous severance package. I'm sure the Spurs will do the same for Tony Parker :tu,

Move #1 needs to be a coaching change and the hiring of a new GM or the offseason is completely irrelevant.

The most obvious move the Spurs can make is the one they will least likely do, unfortunately.

Uggh. He may be the weakest player of the 3 but Mavs do best in that scenario ... Jordan is a great fit for what they do.

Sons - even you don't believe that. If the Spurs land LA (where we keep most of our players) no way you put Mavs (who were already far behind SA) landing DJ over SA. Come on now.

Didnt say they would be better where did I say that? I said he fits what they need/lack the best. Of course I would pick Sa over Dallas if that happened. I think LMA would do well in SA, especially short term I just dont like the fit long term at max money ...

It's the Knicks, they're notorious for making bad trades, even if Isaiah Thomas is no longer running the show.

I can see NY doing that for sure, because they are NY and he has a flashy name and is "proven". I just don't see why PHX would do that (in context of who might be available) just to move up 8 spots.

I guess it's fine if you can hit the reset and there aren't really better assets out there if you are just trying to reset, but it's odd all around.

I don't think Bledsoe is worth a top 10 pick, but I also don't think it's wise for a team like the Suns to trade him and their pick to move up (although it's damn good value).

I think the 13th and Bledsoe is too much. At this point, I'm just relieved to see that our front office doesn't view Bledsoe as untouchable. I think Ryan McD has finally seen that 2 point guard systems do not work and we need to go a different path.

It's a ploy, ill. He's in town--in this blast furnace--workin' hard on his craft. He ain't here by accident. They implored him to stay---he stayed. He's seeing the light. Now the FO comes up with this strategy to put him up on the market stump, challenge him outright. They've seen the numbers, damn right they have and they're not a figment,,,they're hard numbers, get ya giddy to be frank. Put a heart there & then it takes on a whole different outlook for you & for me.

Cavs would be dumb. Lebron just put on a herculean(although inefficient) effort why would they pay him that much money when he can re-sign Tristan and get some vets that can help on the cheap? I bet plenty of vets after watching him almost win that series will be glad to help get that 3rd ring ...

I would say no. but after trading wiggins those dumbasses will pay $100 mill and cavs still wont win and will be locked in to Lebron, Kyrie and Love. With Love and Kyrie damaged goods and James overdue for a injury.

LOL, Cleveland. (sorry Tait)

I think all 3 options GM, are problematic but I like all 3 players.

1. I dont trust Boogie. And is Scott the right coach to get the best out of him? And even If he was ... no way I give up both #2 and Randle plus Clarkson to find out ... fuck that.

2. Oakafor's defense is a concern can he at least be solid enough for us to hand the Lakers big man baton to him? I love his offensive skill and he has won on every level much like Magic, Kareem worthy I believe that matters ...despite his detractors.

3. Russell. I love his passing, vision and swag. His handles are strong not Curryesque but he could get even nicer. The game has become more guard focused.

My head says Oakafor heart Russell ... I am trusting Mitch to pick the BPA based on workouts and not factoring Kobe, randle or clarkson we can make trades later for "fit".

Cubby, I just don't like Eric Bledsoe. I can't really put my finger on it, maybe it's the lazy turnovers or the fact that he turns it on when he wants but tends to coast more often than he should. Or it could be his lack of leadership and the fact that he's not a great shooter for being a point guard which negatively affects the team. If it were up to me I'd swing a deal on draft night and take a gamble on one of these kids coming out instead of hitching ourselves to Bledsoe and his contract. We need a franchise player and unfortunately nobody wants to play in Phoenix anymore thanks to Sarver so we are going to have to build through the draft or swing a trade when a player like that comes available (for example James Harden). This team has a bunch of dysfunctional pieces that don't fit together, the players I like in no particular order is Alex Len, Brandon Knight, TJ Warren, and maybe Archie Goodwin. I'd like for the front office to build around these core players, the rest, such as the Morriss twins and PJ Tucker are knuckleheads who need to be shipped right the fuck off. It's inexcusable to me to disrespect your coach on national TV and get into a screaming match with an aggressive demeanor as if he was going to hit Jeff. It's inexcusable to miss the team bus multiple times. It's inexcusable to rack up all of those technicals and become a distraction to the team. The guys on the team are young and impressionable and those assholes (Morriss twins and Tucker) are setting the wrong tone. Now that Babby has stepped down, I'm hoping to Christ that he was the puppet master behind the Morriss twins, Bledsoe, and Tucker. I hope to see Ryan show some guts this off-season and make some calculated gambles.

I'm with you on either Okafor or Russell. I was reading an article on Okafor and the dude has huge hands. I kinda just want it to be over with so we know where are chips lay. I know we're still miles away from competing in the Harsh west, but hope springs eternal.

That worries me. But it could be a poor man's version of Hakeem over Jordan. On paper of course Rox regret that pick but Hakeem still delivered. That is what I hope for my team if we go Oakafor even if Russell is the bigger "star".
