Reminds me of the days when totals were like 180.5 and not 210.5. Thank god we're not living in the 90's:lol

Not to nitpick but it needs to lull 3 beats after the voice over (1:00 mark) before the horns commence,,,then the horns need 1 additional sequence before the lasers begin to weld.

I see no problem in it, the Cavs were a lowly team in comparison.

"Iverson" has been dropped in this week I've noticed. They never stop pimping this barrel of shit.

Why don't you name whoever this is directed to? Haven't seen a Laker fan who calls Kobe the best man on the floor for those years.

Yep, that's the Finals where the Celtics tried to hoodwink the Lakers with the "sprained ankle" appeal assisted by CBS personnel: "Feel sorry for us/them, por favor?' Jabbar had seen it all before in the '71 Finals and implored his people to "bury these fucks." Had to drag 'em back out to the coast, but, ultimately we left 'em where we found 'em.

Two weeks later we drove 'em out to the LA County line & dumped their honkey asses.

The Bucks made an art form of losing to Boston and Philadelphia during the '80s.

Was '85 more satisfying though? Seemed so. Don't think anyone was surprised Celtics lost in 87. Btw, that Bucks series was the Semi that, year, Celtics still had to play the Pistons to 7 so that must've been more than two week till they met the Lakers in the finals.

No, it's time for me to appreciate your absence from tomorrow evenings festivities. Christ, I'd be fucking miserable...you'd be Lording it over us,,,and we'd have to take it like troopers. You'd make mince meat of those squirts in California. And it would fit Media's cap, feather it in fact. "They'll be plenty of other times for Golden State to win their titles, have their moments, but, this, Jeff, this right belongs to the Greg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs------back-to-back NBA Champions."

Eh?

Yeah.

Absolutely. It was a mind bending experience. I'd clear the house, Girl had taken the babies to her parents. It was quiet without the squalling, the boys too. Afterward I cried like a baby. My dad and my brother were rabid Celtic fans, but, that phone never rang. They could dish it,,,but, they could not take it.

Visuals:::
Heinsohn & Stockton standing there ashen faced...you'd a thought somebody had died.
Casey Jones:::sticking his head out of the Celtics locker room & bitterly denouncing the 2-3-2 format.
McHale:::on all 4's calling Strom every name in the book after Strom had fouled him out.

What was Bird doing when Ainge tried to tackle Moncrief. He was slow to respond, the he looked like he was taking punches at Ainge... then he rushed off like he didn't regretted getting involved.

Thank Christ, they'd be untenable tonite if they were on tap. The door was wide open this time. Just walk thru it, take that repeat and beat a LF half to death. Now they're just hang nails on the fickle finger of fate.

Those poor schmucks.

They'll be back at it when Aldridge strolls into the AT&T center. A loser giving hope to losers, what a beautiful thing.

One of my favorites. The "dynasty" intro from Game 4 of the '98 Finals. So odd to see Kerr in some of these clips and now he's coaching in the NBA Finals.

You'd do what you did last time, be absent yourself until it was all over and all the glory toasting was through, then you'd slink back in and say something about how Boris carried TOSB to the ring.

You never take yours. Don't act like you do. Someone who registered post Pau didn't come here to break bread.

I wonder how much money John Tesh has made from that NBA on NBC theme. That theme is an all time classic. It's up there with the Monday Night Football music(not the stupid song).

No, no, D, I was here the moment you rang. And I was here in '07 to thank you for expunging the Suns.

Tonite, you're gonna sit there and you're gonna take it. And you're gonna take it each nite as your back-to-back Finals plays out.

& I'm gonna be with ya every step of the way.

They need Bob Costas to narrate.
