The breaks tend to even out over time. Winning teams capitalize on the breaks; losing teams don't. It's that simple. So give the Dubs credit for capitalizing.
Bummer about Kyrie, though. He really played well last night, even on defense. At this point I'd almost rather the Cavaliers shut him down for the duration rather than risking a chronic, permanent injury.
I'd like to see Kyrie's leg snap off at the knee, he'd drag the team to a ring on a bloody stump, I'm sure of it.

So much hatred and saltiness by spurfans about this Warriors team. Honestly even if all those guys were healthy they would have still lost to the Warriors. The spurs were the only team that matched up well with Warriors but those other teams didn't so there is no point of bitching about those injuries. Give me an argument to believe that those teams would have beaten the Warriors since even when they were healthy they didn't do shit against them during the regular season.

I believe the grizz and cavs woulda given them a run for their money in the playoffs. Fully healthy that is.
Media ignored the fact that coonley could barely move his head. He's the head of the snake for the grizz.
Hell even Antony unibrow had a bad back.

Keyword you think both of those teams would have pushed the Warriors but they still would not have beaten them. I like the Grizzlies but they are Chicago bulls West their offense is not good enough for them to win. I think they would have still lost that series in 6 regardless of whether or not Conley was healthy. I predicted before the series started the Warriors would take the Cavs out in 5 this was before Kyrie's injury. So with a healthy Kyrie they lose in 5 but instead they get swept. The cavs are trash they would get mauled by any of the Top 5 teams in the West. You should also hate the cavs for playing in the shitty East which is even more disgraceful than the Warriors journey to get to the finals. Lebron is going to get probably 5 more free trips to the finals with this shit squad.

I think a fully healthy cavs would beat them.
Also a fully healthy grizz would have at least depleted the worriers so they would be beat in later rounds.
This is too easy for them * year imho

I disagree. The Grizz have no outside shooting and once the warriors figured out they could clog the paint area the series was over. Nothing can change my opinion about the Cavs even with a healthy Kyrie they are still a team that had the benefits of playing in the shitty east. Warriors were going to demolish them regardless of Kyrie's health. You can't win a championship playing 2 on 5 for a 7 game series like the Cavs did last night its just not going to cut it. Every game LeBron would have to score 30 plus along with Kyrie playing at a high level. To me that just doesn't seem realistic. I do believe the Spurs were the only team that could beat the Wariors but outside of the Spurs nobody was going to beat the Warriors this year.

Still, GS deserves the title. Best team all season.

Pretty much... I'm not calling it yet, but looks like it. I thought going into these Finals, the Cavs were built sort of like a Grizzlies team, with a Lebron, and the post game would be important, but now with no Iriving, it's not even that.

I think after the 40 year drought and the terrible teams of the 90s and 2000s us warrior fans couldnt give two fucks about who couldnt play, who was hurt, and who bitched out against us (howard). Seeing the warriors win a title will be an amazing feeling for all of us who grew up watching shitty basketball. Lets not forget we once had a player choke out the coach, and the coach ends up getting fired. Plus theres no excuses in professional sports all you can do is beat everybody they put in front of you.

never though i'd say this but i missed the Thunderefs in the playoffs this year. they must be so pissed watching this gay ass team do it in one try when they've been grinding it out for years with nothing to show for it but injuries.
then again they willingly kept scotty brooks around when it was clear he was in over his head. they made their own bed.

No one can do it alone, I don't care how good they are. I watched LeBron try and do it alone for seven years before he left. It just doesn't work that way. Kareem didn't win titles in L.A. until Magic came along, MJ didn't win titles in Chicago until Scottie Pippen developed into a great player, etc. I give LeBron a lot of credit for getting the Cavaliers to this point without Love and with Kyrie as limited as he has been. Hopefully they'll be a little healthier at this time next year.

The East was shit in 2001-02, 2010-11 and 2012-13, and yet the Cavaliers lost 65, 63 and 58 games in those years. You still have to beat the teams in front of you regardless of how weak the conference supposedly is. If you moved the Kings and Timberwolves to the East they'd still suck.
