According to your logic this was the Lakers second 3rd championship since they gave away their first one in '84 to the Celtics.

Quality doesn't matter. There's already a world championship and it's not in the National Basketball Association.

Might as well then call the WCF champion "NBA Champion" since quite often there's no talent in the East.
