Only 8 Spurs have ever scored 20+ points in a Finals game (34 total games):

Tim Duncan (ironically, 21 times)
Tony Parker (ironically, 9 times)
Manu Ginobili (7)
Kawhi Leonard (4)
Danny Green (2)
Robert Horry (1)
Gary Neal (1)
David Robinson (1)

Only 6 of those got to at least 25 points:

Duncan (9)
Ginobili (4)
Parker (4)
Green, Leonard, Robinson (1)

Only Duncan (4) and Parker (1) have ever had 30 point games in the Finals for the Spurs:

Duncan -- 33 in Game 1, 1999
Duncan -- 31 in Game 5, 1999
Duncan -- 32 in Game 1, 2003
Parker -- 30 in Game 2, 2007
Duncan -- 30 in Game 6, 2013

Duncan's 33 in Game 1 of the 1999 Finals is the biggest Spurs scoring output in a Finals game.

Wow, thank for posting. Spurs players across the board are always limited in their stats. We kept seeing that with Kawhi as Pop seemingly would never let him get to 30 until G3 this year against the Clips. The system really controls the Spurs numbers significantly. Those numbers are surprisingly low, considering how many Finals games we've played and how many we've won (23-11 record).

Really great research guys. Well done!:toast

Timmy averaging 20.6 against that brutal Detroit frontline in 2005 was impressive. That was a grind it out, no pretty boy basketball series.

True, tbh..

That 30 points in game 6 in 2013 is just depressing. No way to have denied Timmy his 4th Finals MVP...oh, wait, unless you lose the game and then the series....

To put the high game numbers for the Spurs into some perspective, in the 34 Finals games the Spurs have played, there have only been 11 occasions where a player took at least 20 shots (Duncan 7 times, Parker 4 times).

Of those, only Duncan -- and only once (in Game 7 in 2005, when he had 27 FGA) -- has ever gone over 25 FGA.

Lebron has 3 games in the 2015 Finals with at least 34 FGA.

Since 1985, only Duncan has ever taken 30 shots in a playoff game (he took 30 in Game 1 of the 2002 WCSF at LAL) and the Spurs have only 8 games in which a player has taken between 27-30 field goal attempts (3 by Duncan, 3 by Parker, and 2 by Robinson)

If not for 6, I don't think we ever get to experience "the best 3 games of basketball ever palyed."

Pop made sure of that. Just allow the guy who got you into that position to bring you home.

Game 7 in 2005, when he had 27 FGA

When it felt like Spurs couldn't score in that slog of a game, they just pounded it into Duncan. Also shows you how much the early-to-mid 2000s Spurs relied on the Big 3. Literally had seven guys logging minutes those days.

What an ugly boxscore. Reflects how much this team has evolved.
