Which one is going BEAST MODE in conditioning and skills improvement this summer? Patty Mills transformation summer before last was STUNNING. Too bad he had such a setback with the shoulder last season, but he turned it on in the playoffs. Cory Joseph was impressive, filling in last season.

I wonder what Patty Mills thinks of fellow Aussie Matthew Delladova of the Cavs.

I say use Mills as trade bait and resign COJO to be the back up.

He is bigger, more athletic, and younger. Not to mention we drafted him and have been developing him. His shot has improved immensely.

I really like having both of these guys for what they bring if it were possible to keep them. They are both such great role players:

Patty plays more like a SG (moves without the ball well and can catch and shoot). Not a great ball handler, but we really don't need him to be if we would play him at the 2 more. The challenge with that is on the defensive end. Overall, he's a rich man's Gary Neal IMO.

Cory is more a true PG with a developing mid-range shot. I feel like I've seen different statistics on it, but I trust him shooting a 15-footer. He has good handles and is a great defender. I say he becomes more of Tony's backup and you keep Patty playing the 2 more.

Joseph is solid but Mills is better. A good dilemma to have imo

If I'm RC I feel out the market for Cory and then take S&T calls from anyone desperate for PG play. If Manu's coming back there's really no reason to keep Cory other than as insurance. OTOH if Parker plays his usual 60 games it's probably best to have 2 other trustworthy PGs on the roster.

I'm just not really sold on Joseph tbh. He plays hard and is a decent enough defender (that time he guarded Harden for a stretch was awesome) but on offense he's just a vagrant potato like 85% of the time. He's had 3 years to turn into a passable threat on offense and he's taken exactly the same amount of shots per 36 each year. He'd be a great PG if paired up with ball dominant players like LBJ or Durant, but we don't have those guys and when a Spurs player (especially a PG) isn't aggressive or a threat to score it's blatantly obvious that it bogs up the offense.

As a backup PG CoJo will help you get to the playoffs. Mills will help you win the playoffs.

Patty Mills gets you the 1st seed while resting starters on b2b's, and wins you the playoffs.

Joseph is a pretty good garbage time player.

Without Mills we don't make it to 7 games.

No doubt about that shit... He was hitting his trey ball while others were bricking them. He sparked a huge run in that game they started down 15 or so quick points.
