Sweep both the Cavs and Warriors in the finals. Dayum neither team can shoot worth a shit. Yeah, GS is better as they should be since Lebron is carrying D-League talent. Sheesh, Ive never seen so many blown layups, short 6-8 ft. jumpers and 3pt shots in all my life. :cry

You clearly dont understand hoops. If you cant see the 2014 Spurs would trounce these two teams. Hell, Miami would have beaten them both.

Yep.... They would have trounced both teams. The historical numbers that team put up was off the charts.

I think Miami would have swept both as well. Lebron would have had the help he needed from Wade and Bosh. Hell, Ray Allen would have made a ton more 3's for the Cavs. Which begs to speak, why in the hell isnt Mike Miller given a chance? He can drop some points that Cleveland desperately needs.

Say whatever you want about the Cavs or the Warriors (and they've been shitty no doubt) but the Spurs blew a 3-2 lead and basically got beat in Game 7 by a midget on one leg so who knows how they would have fared against any team?

Spurs don't repeat, they'd never get past these teams.

These are the two teams that went through people who went through people who went through us. So no.

And the 2001-2002 Lakers would beat practically any team since then.

1996 Bulls would also...

A bunch of historically great teams could take on and beat various teams. I'm sure every championship team ever could have beaten the 2011 Heat, for instance, that team was an abysmal failure.

Just because they win the championship doesn't make them the best team, but who got the matchup right at the right time. Does anybody think that the 2007 Giants were superior to the 2007 Patriots? Nobody, but they won because they got hot at the right time and hit the right matchup.

Never understood this "X team would beat Y" stuff, because, well, that matchup can't and is not happening.

Yeah, but if Malone didn't get injured Shaq would still be a laker.
