Okay serious discussion. What moves do the Warriors need to make in order to repeat?

Shuffle Bogut, Lee and maybe Thompson. Upgrade Barbosa

Avoid the Spurs and hope Love/Kyrie suffer season ending injuries again.

Glad you found a new bandwagon tbh.

1. Mavs have another offseason full of retarded decisions (like signing an overrated role player to max, trading some expiring contracts for a cancer, etc...)
2. Other championship candidates all got one or two key players injured and out for the season.

They should keep the same roster, obviously..

They will move Lee, maybe they can get another quality big that can play their style..

None of the other teams in the West can beat them, unless Parker dies during the off-season..

Trading away players is a sure fire way of not repeating, unless you bring in a prime ring candidate or a prime previous ringer...

I would say as long as you have a solid core tho, like a core 4, you're good. But this team will require system players.

StrengthAndHonor

They don't need Barnes.

First thing they need to move imo is David Lee. He did contribute in the Finals FkLA might be right about him. Move him for a better post presence

Clay Thompson needs to improve mentally....makes too many mental mistake....need to find another mobil big other than Bogut.....either Robin Lopez or Omar Asik and they will repeat

Get rid of Bogut and keep Lee

who can they get for him though, who will pick up the system and be willing to play such a minor role?

Funny seeing Spurs fans crucify the Warriors about staying healthy when they were the same ones hoping the Spurs stayed healthy and prayed to God Steph would break his ankle before the WCF (had we gotten there).

He has a nice contract, they could probably get a nice 3rd big for him..a better version of Speights, there are always guys like that to be found around the league..

Ezeli is a great 4th big, too..

I'd trade him for: package to Charlotte for Marvin Williams(perfect Warriors fit), Raptors for Patterson(or Amir Johnson in a S&T), Magic for Frye, Nuggets package for Chandler, package for Jason Thompson..or a 3-way and end up with a Mike Scott type..

The only teams that stand a chance vs them will be the spurs and cavs. Bogut is useful vs the spurs and it would be idiotic to get rid of him.

I don't understand why they would trade lee, bogut I understand, but lee is a good passer , and had a decent post game, and his defense at least in the finals looked alright. This guy needs more minutes imo.

His D was passable in the Finals because he was playing against bottom-tier competition, tbh:lol..

There's a reason he couldn't even get minutes over Mo fucking Speights all season on a 67 win team..

Keep playing up tempo while playing good defense/rebounding. Worked for Lakers Showtime.
Most teams who sell themselves on the uptempo are sacrificing offensive rebounding and defense and can't sniff a title. Teams like...uhhh, Phoenix.

The same keys all great teams need to win, basically.

- Retain all major talent that got them there — They can lose a few pieces and interchange some (likely with a heavier focus on defense).

- Get a better defense — The Cavs series changed once Iggy got in there and did some work on LeBron.

- Luck — Don't run into difficult matchups and refrain from injuries: instrumental for all championship teams.

I don't see them repeating, but I see them in the hunt and likely the top seed in the West. Anything can happen, though.
