" A Los Angeles man ordered fried chicken from a KFC restaurant in Willowbook but instead got a plate of crispy, breaded fried rat, he claims.Devorise Dixon posted a*photo of what he claims is a fried rat*on Facebook on Friday, and it has since gone viral. The photo shows a large breaded piece attached to a longer string of fried breading, which could be interpreted to be a rat’s tail.Dixon wrote that he returned to the KFC at Wilmington Avenue and 120th Street and the manager told him it was a rat. He said she apologized.“Be safe. Don’t eat fast food!!!” he wrote, adding he plans to retain an attorney. But KFC says Dixon’s claim is a hoax. His photographs, they say, don’t include a second angle, which “clearly shows it’s a piece of hand-breaded white meat chicken.”“Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options,” KFC said in a statement."

Rats and rodents are the only animals that disgust me. It's white meat but the shape itself would've been enough for me to throw that shit out tbh.

If you don't handle your food directly, you don't know what's gonna be in it for sure and that includes at restaurants with a polite host and wait staff hoping you'll give them a nice tip but may do dirty things while you aren't looking or can't see. Solution? Grow you own food and cook it yourself. Not practical? Don't be surprised when you get a surprise in your mass produced product.
