Sure, he can set the record for fattest player in NBA history and challenge Kirby's record for most bricks in NBA history, no problem.

6 more years at his current average puts him around 5400 pts all-time, which would be #4 behind Jordan, Abdul-Jabbar, and Bryant. By that time, Lebron would be ahead of that mark, but Duncan probably won't reach that if he only plays one more year. If that's the case, Parker would finish at #5. Currently he's at #11 and will pass Bird next year.

Parker will pass Nash and Bird in playoffs assists in his first playoff game next year to put him at #5 of all-time. He will probably pass Kidd pretty easily, but he won't catch Magic or Stockton. Probably ends up at #4 all-time.

You think he has 6 more years of potentially producing his "current average" after 2 straight years of severe, progressive decline since the 2013 playoffs? Seriously? Trolling aside, there isn't much of a precedent for that at his position, tbh..once a player begins a clear decline, there aren't many examples of turning it around..

Lol, "decline"? His career average is 270 PTS during the postseason. 2 years ago he scored 400. Moron.

In his career, he has had 3 playoff runs of 400+ points. Two of them were in the last 3 years. Please go check some numbers bro. For once in your life.

You have to have a high-level niche to transition into a productive PG later in your career, tbh..

Stockton and Nash were elite shooters and historically great passers..Kidd focused on being a defensive specialist that could guard SGs and SFs in Dallas due to his size, and more importantly, became a solid spot-up 3-point shooter..Payton was decent in Miami as a defensive specialist, too..

There aren't many examples of PGs successfully transitioning with age, tbh..it's an ugly decline..

Stop using raw totals numbers, too, it's 2015, this isn't 2003..I've presented all the numbers on Parker several times, you keep rejecting them with your raw totals numbers that are entirely based on FGAs and usage..

His playoff numbers from 2013 to 2015:

Parker 2013 playoffs: 21.5 PER(#1 on the team)
2014 playoffs: 15.8 PER(collosal decline, #7 on the team)
2015 playoffs: 6.5 PER(historic decline, one of the worst numbers in NBA playoffs history, 2nd worst on the team)

2013 WS: 2.4(#3 on the team)
2014: 1.1(#7 on the team)
2015: Worst on the team

2013 BPM: 2.8(#5 on the team)
2014 BPM: -1.2(worst on the team)
2015 BPM: Only ahead of Baynes

2013 VORP: 0.8(#3 on the team)
2014 VORP: 0.1(worst on the team)
2015 VORP: Worst on the team

2013 ON/OFF: #4
2014 ON/OFF: #7
2015 ON/OFF: Only ahead of Baynes

2013 PPG: 20.6
2014 PPG: 17.4
2015 PPG: 10.9

2013 APG: 7
2014 APG: 4.8
2015 APG: 3.6

2013 Assist-to-TO: 2.8
2014: 1.8
2015: 2.3

I'm not sure if there has ever been a worse 2-year decline in league history, tbh, and the PG position is pretty ugly for aging players..

Went from a star player in the 2013 playoffs to mediocre player in the 2014 playoffs to horrific player in the 2015 playoffs(and most of the season)..

We'll see. Obv sport science is advancing. Tony hasn't had any systemic injury like Nash and his back. If he can figure out space and pace I don't see why he shouldn't retire. I mean he's good at dribble dribble right? That's a basketball skill ! If iggy can win fmvp by being an old glue guy than Parker had hope.

You should give him some slack, since 6 he is not the same person, he even admit it will hunt him forever even when he's old and gray, he is in difficult mental stage of post trauma that he can't get over, he can't wash the pain and the sorrow away, he keep being in depression over it and eating all the time...
