Dr j was old and way past his prime
Barkley was young and still learning from Moses
Moses wasn't as dominant as he once was

Bucks got moncrief, pressey and Cummings.
People don't remember, but moncrief was incredible back one day and Cummings was a terror on the block. The bucks in the mid 80s were really good.

What made Phili so tough was having that deadly shooter in Toney. If you think Curry was deadly you have seen shit until you see Toney get on a roll. Ignore the faggot poster, amb... she doesn't know shit. Barkley was young but was already putting up 20/12. Moses was putting up 23/13, but Dr. J was old. That Bucks teams had talent in their big three... Pressy/Moncrief/Cummings, but the reason Phili lost was Toney didn't play. He had a foot injury and missed most of the season... basically ruining his career.

Toney was always injured. It was unfortunate since he was really good.

Andrew Toney got hurt, as has already been pointed out, and I think that 76ers team lost their edge, their hunger a little bit when they finally won the title in 1983. Remember, they got knocked out in the first round by the Nets in '84, losing all three games in the Spectrum. And aside from Barkley their core- Dr. J, Moses, Bobby Jones- had a lot of mileage on it.
