Not because Delladova is better than Irving as a player, it's because it means more of the offense goes through Lebron, and Delladova focuses on nothing BUT defense, which he is better than Irving at.
.

Feel free to add

:lmao Delladova better than Irving

Tim Cuckan losing $25 million is chump change
This after Amy took half, after he played for a hometown discount, he has no endorsements (other than HEB**), after unknowingly paying a cool $1 million on a fucken gym he clearly don't fucken use:

That's true. You must understand the power of LeBron to see. On paper it's ridiculous. But if we assume LeBron has infinite energy he's right. Simple economics. LeBron has a competitive advantage with offense so he should maximize that. Delly is not add good as LeBron on d but it's most efficient to have him max d.

A comparable line-up would be Irving as first option offense with LeBron as defense. If they weren't playing the mvp that might sense but I'd prefer the line-up which guards the opponents best player with a specialist. Plus Irving was injured so it's a moot issue

OP All you are doing is sparking a Kobe bash thread of some sort ...
We will see some passive aggressive thread with some obscure numbers to support a player he like Lebron/Duncan/Moses /bird and bash Kobe.

That's pretty butt hurt of you.

But people who view this as Delladova > Irving is missing the point, it's actually Lebron > Irving, which is true.

Having everything go through Lebron is always the best way to run things, the problem is that it is unsustainable due to exhaustion. In the course of a series though, it is doable (proven), and it makes the Cavs a better team.

The Cavs would be even better off with another defensive minded G in the series, if they can have someone like Tony Allen or Mike Conley in place of Dova, they win the series.

Irving takes away Lebron's offensive touches, and is mediocre defensively. He's great as a sidekick in the regular season to relieve pressure for Lebron on offense, but in the playoffs against a good team, he could be easily neutralized.

You know you are a boss when you lost $25m and doesn't bat an eyelash.

"Yeah, it's a lot of change, but it doesn't affect me", I mean, how boss do you have to be and just brush $25m off your shoulders?

Some people are slaves to money and fame, Duncan clearly isn't, but he still is worth more than half the planet added together.

Respect.

The point was, it wasn't chump change, and he still didn't really care that much.

I think you are reversing the issue.

But I'd be interested in seeing my assertion of having to maximize Lebron on a series is better than having him share workload with Irving.

Wow, you mean English is your 1st language and you can't figure out "wasn't" is the opposite of "was"?

I mean, seriously, I said, explicitly, " it wasn't chump change", and you, with your 1st language ability, directly interpreted that I said "it was chump change"?

Shouldn't you be embarrassed by it now? Getting lectured on your own language by a foreigner?

Are you good at anything? Anything at all? I mean, what the hell?

So when I said "Kobe is NOT a top 10 player of all time", do you read it as me saying "Kobe is a top 10 player of all time"?

Now FGA matters? Could you list out all the criteria you consider for dominance? You just like to randomly pull things out.

So far, we have:
1) It's strictly offensive, defense doesn't count
2) FG%, but must be in combination with FGA
3) Looks like it

What else is there? Does a player has to be 300lbs or over, has the initials S.O., uses his mother's maiden name for his last name, require an apostrophe in his name?

When numbers don't support you, just pull up weird random things.

Irving's Drating is 108

:lmao Kyrie worth more wins than Wall

As a sidekick to Lebron when Lebron draws almost all the attention.

Not to mention Wall has higher BPM and VORP, and Irving has yet to register a single season with a +ve DBPM.

:lmao Kyrie worth more wins Lillard in the playoffs

Again, as a side kick to Lebron, playing against juggernauts like the Celtics, Bulls and Hawks, while the Blazers played against the Grizzlies.

Not to mention Lebron dragged the Cavs there in the first place, and then round after round. We all know how Irving fared as the first option, missing playoffs, much lower WS, much lower ORating (wow, Lebron on your team helps your offense? Really?)

:lmao shitty shitty ambchang.
