To promote Apple music streaming, Apple was not going to pay artists for the first 3 months.
Taylor Swift told Apple to "Shake That Shit Off" and Apple folded.
Now Amazon is plans to pay authors for ebooks, not for their slice of the retail price, but on how many pages the ebook/Kindle buyer actually "reads" (looks at?)
