I mean guys in here use to be high on Derrick Williams. I would give this guy a shot at the right price and for the Spurs, that's after his rookie deal expires. He's making almost 6 mil this year and has an option for like 7.5 next year. Too much to give anything of value. If we can sign him for the vet minimum after his rookie deal, I'm in for it otherwise he is making too much.

Keep in mind Bennett was far from a consensus #1, or even a top 3, and was more of a "somewhere in the lottery" kind of player that Cleveland reached on.

If he could be an energy big off the bench, and stretch the floor, like 17-18 foot jumper, then he could be of some value. But he would have to have a change of heart which most likely mean he''s on the way out of the league and we are his only hope type situation. Imo

This is what happens when you're a top of the draft bust. He's going into year 3, and is making $5M, having showed NOTHING. Philly ended up salary dumping Evan Turner when his year 5 QO would have been NINE MILLION DOLLARS.
