And we already have Lamarcus Aldridge under contract? Do we trade Aldridge to make room? Can Aldridge and Anthony Davis Coexist? Who plays center?

That`s a good question. I think we should sign both of them.

Both will take discounts in honor of Tim Duncan and Kl will redo his contract as well, and then we can give John Wall a max deal.

Sorry, like a true Spur I like to solve problems before they become problems.

I'm not sure about John Wall. Do we really want to downgrade from Tony at the risk of offending Kawhi by asking him to take less?

If we can get him for the minimum, why not?

Davis is as good as gone from New Orleans in 2 years imo. Probably to the Lakers imvho.

The Curry situation will complicate things even more. Do we dare offend Steph by not offering Klay Thompson as well? If so, what do we tell Danny Green when KT starts eating into his minutes?

I don't envy the front office.

We get both of them, and trade them for Wilt Chamberlain.....

Do you think Jordan can come out of retirement to play for the spurs?

I think you cut LMA if unibrow wants to come on board. :bobo

Great post. This issue will only amplify once Lebron announces his Decision to join the Spurs. Kobe will likely want to be a 12th man on a winning roster so we'll have that to contend with as well once he's aboard.

Huge concern for all of us. Juggling the salaries and the egos will require some effort, but I'm sure Pop is up to the task. I'm glad this is being addressed now. :tu

On the topic of Davis, I don't see any way he turns down the near $170m Rose max he's got coming. Not to mention once the Pelicans offer it to him he is guaranteed to stay there at least another 3 years.

The Spurs FO would cut LeBron and Curry to make room for Davis, obviously. Stupid question.

It's threads like this that make me understand why my order at the McDonald's drive-thru is never right.

We will see who are the REAL Spurs fans when they ask for sign-ups for the blow job lottery for Davis.

Nig will get 29 million/year. Think about the Spurs asking for a discount.

We can put Lebron at the point, Davis at center and LMA as a PF. They will have to share the ball with Durant and Harden however.

Your dreams have been dashed. Is going to sign a 5 year 145 mil extension with Nola. I can honestly say, he is worth it. He reminds me of Robinson before he became Christian (which I am glad and respect he did, but he never had the same aggression he had the 1st two seasons he played). He is total beast on the Court.
